Beautiful waterfront and parks are found everywhere, including the much-loved Lighthouse Park and Ambleside Park.

Many points on the waterfront are for beach time, swimming, all kinds of boating, kayaking, paddle boarding and scuba diving.

The West Vancouver Community Centre, Aquatic Centre, Ice Arena, Gleneagles Community Centre, Seniors’ Activity Centre and Clubhouse at Gleneagles Golf Course offer a wide range of programs, services and venue rental opportunities. They also serve as community hubs in the western and central regions of West Vancouver.

Our Neighbourhood

Shopping, dining, coffee and pubs are found in the villages of Ambleside, Dundarave and Horseshoe Bay.

Ambleside and Dundarave are connected by the Seawalk, one of the most beautiful urban seaside strolls you’ll find anywhere, with views of Stanley Park and the Vancouver skyline, cruise ships and freighters passing under the Lions Gate Bridge, and across the Strait of Georgia to the mountains of Vancouver Island.

The eastern entry into West Vancouver is Park Royal Shopping Centre, one of Metro Vancouver’s biggest and best.
