Our Sweet Retreat is located just 1.5 miles off of the west side of I-5and is tucked back off of Wilsonville Rd. The long driveway is easyto miss so please keep your eyes out for some helpful landmarks:MAP & DIRECTIONS--Hazelwood neighborhood brick wall on right side on the corner ofGuiss Way & Wilsonville Rd with crosswalk.--Entrance to the property is the next driveway on the right just before the20 MPH school sign. If you get to Wood Middle School you've gone too far.Look for thehanging lightson the brick wall& wooden gateat the entrance.

GENERAL INFOEntry/Access: Check-in @ 4PM. Guests will be given a unique door code prior to theirarrival and it will be activated once they have completed the required pre-arrival form.The security system will be disarmed and please leave it that way during your stay.Guests will have access to the rental units they have reserved and the exteriorgrounds that go with them. The detached studio with sleeping loft can only bereserved by the same guests already reserving the farmhouse. The Camping Corner isopen seasonally (May-Oct) and provides additional space (2 adults max) or can berented separately on occasion for those who want to experience their own personalglamping getaway. Guests using that space must be 18 years or older since thecamper, outdoor bath and surrounding area is intended for adult use only. The bikesand water sports equipment in the storage room are to be shared on a first come, firstserve basis. Ask us for door code. Details regarding storage room are posted inside.Parking: The main parking lot (right of driveway after entering property) is reservedfor guests (5-6 cars max) and the driveway should remain clear of cars at all times.Wi-Fi: Our Sweet Retreat | Password: Vacation TV: Roku | HDMI Input 1 | Free TV Channels + Access to Your Streaming Accounts.Security Devices: Security cameras, noise monitors smoke and/or carbon monoxidedetectors should not be disconnected or tampered with at any time.Lighting/HVAC: Most of the lights have dimmer switches so the amount of lightingcan be controlled. The Nest thermostat is pre-set with an ideal range...feel free toadjust as desired. The farmhouse being two levels (and with original features whichare not the most energy efficient!) is subject to feeling cool downstairs and warmupstairs especially during the summer months so it's helpful to use the portable fansand/or AC units upstairs and be sure to keep any exterior doors closed when not inuse. It’s important not to leave the doors open for long periods of time, it’s hard on theHVAC system and on our utility bills. :) Please do not control the air flow by opening orclosing vents on either level as this is not good for the HVAC system but feel free tocontact us for assistance for regulating the temperature with the thermostat. Thestudio has it’s own heating/cooling unit with remote which controls the temperaturein that space. String lights are on timers and should not be adjusted.Towels/Linens: All bath towels, linens and blankets are for indoor use only. Beachtowels are provided for outdoor use. Please do not personally wash any of those itemssince they require special laundering for care & sanitary purposes but more can bedelivered upon request. Fees may apply if guests launder, damage or lose these items.Kettle Fire Pit, BBQ Grill & Smoker: Please read written instructions on each beforeoperating.Emergency: Flashlight, battery-operated lamps with USB outlets and first aid kit arein the basket on top of two red emergency buckets with instructions (provided byClackamas County). A fire extinguisher is on the wall next to the tankless waterheater. Emergency call numbers for the police, fire & hospital are also noted there,and again by the front door and by the guest book. The studio has its own fireextinguisher. Misc: Garbage Day is Friday. Bins are at the back of the house and pick-up is at streetcurb where pavers are (left side).

HOUSE RULES & OTHER ITEMS TO NOTEOur Sweet Retreat is meant for singles, couples and families who are looking to enjoy andexplore the Wilsonville area and beyond (minimal rental age is 25). We want guests to relax butwe also hope to be able to continually provide exceptional accommodations because our guestsunderstand they are to leave our property as they found it...clean, neat and tidy. Children shouldhave fun while under the watchful eye of their parent.Completion of a guest information form with verification of government ID and a signed rentalagreement is required for your reservation to be finalized and not subject to cancellation. A securitydeposit up to $500 as an authorized hold on your credit card is also required. A guest guidebook will be provided to guests prior to arrival and you must read and adhere to thatinformation during your stay.The person named on the reservation will be our point of contact and must be present during theentire stay (unless discussed in advance with us). They are responsible to convey the informationfound in the Guest Guidebook to other guests staying or visiting and ultimately for the actions ofthose other guests while at the property during their stay.You may not exceed the number of guests specified at the time of the booking and the externalcameras will be on to verify the number. The maximum amount of guests allowed for each unit is:Farmhouse = 8 guests, Detached Studio = 2 adults and The Camping Corner = 2 adults. The propertymaximum is 12 guests and this applies to sleeping and/or occupying the property (buildings orgrounds). See next rule for exceptions or ask us about our event packages.Parties are never allowed (including co-ed wedding party and/or sport team stays). Events, businessmeetings or social gatherings may be considered but are not allowed without express permission bythe owner first (event fee may apply). Violations will result in immediate eviction and additional fines. Pets are not allowed. Sign of pets on the property may result in eviction and a loss of all booking feesand/or loss of your security deposit. If damages occur, guest will be financially responsible.No smoking of any kind or vaping is allowed on the property. Absolutely, no marijuana or using drugsis allowed during the stay. Please drink responsibly and dispose of bottles and cans in the appropriaterecycling bins. The internet may not be used for illegal activities. Any violations may result in evictionand a loss of all booking fees and /or loss of your security deposit. If damages occur, guest will befinancially responsible.Do not move or re-arrange furniture without permission by the owner. Do not use any form ofmounting material to hang things from walls, ceilings, etc. No candle burning, we provide flameless,battery-operated candles for you to use instead. Do not operate indoor fireplace. Outdoor fire pitshave specific rules for operating, if not followed, fines may apply. Firewood is provided.Bicycle riding and any water activities on the Willamette River or any other bodies of water are doneat your own risk.Please be respectful of the surrounding community and our neighbors by honoring quiet hours from10:00 PM - 8:00 AM with no outdoor music past 9:30 PM or fire pit time past 11:00 PM. There are noisemonitors at the property and our neighbors have our cell number so they will call if there are issues.We have a security system with external cameras on the property and they will be turned on.Please do not have any items shipped to the property without advance permission.We do have a crew who does weekly yard maintenance at the property so please be aware they maybe present at times (usually Wednesdays).The detached garage is for homeowner use only and should not be accessed by guests.The signed rental agreement on file notes some of these items as well but in even stronger terms but our goal is to just have a mutualunderstanding of respect and care of the property during your stay and never have to address any violations of the above.

STAYWe are excited to be able togreet our guests with somelocal goodies from a few ofour favorite spots. There is agreat community of smallbusinesses in Wilsonville andthe surrounding areas and welook forward to making ourguests' stay extra specialwhile also supporting thosebusinesses .

ROOM BY ROOMYou will find a fully stocked kitchen includingsome pantry items, spices and condiments. Allcupboards and drawers are labeled for easieraccess and for placement. Garbage/recyclingbins can be found to the right of the kitchensink. Drying rack is located under sink. Pleaseuse trivets on all counter surfaces and becautious of butcher block tops withliquids/water. Use hood fan when cooking.Please read laminated sheet in kitchen forspecific notes related to that space.Kitchen ¤Entr ¤Please bring your slippers. We ask that you notwear shoes indoors so baskets are by the frontdoor of both the home & studio for shoes.Stocking feet are OK but floors are wideplanked wood so there's a chance of slivers.Lots of hooks available for hanging coats oruse coat closet for additional storage. Stools &bean bags can be found for extra seating incoat closet as well. Please sign the guest bookat dry sink (furniture piece under steer skull)and extra throw blankets can be found in thecupboard area below. Remote for the pulleyfans can be found in drawer...hold it directlybelow the fan motor to operate.Dining Room±Living Room ¤Remotes for TV are in basket on built-ins aswell as remote to operate candles in livingroom and downstairs bathroom. French doorsoff of living room are inoperable so only usethe ones in dining room for accessing outsidepatio and be sure to latch/lock them securely.Don't operate fireplace or use sofa as extrabed. Please use coasters for drinks. Bedrooms ¤Each bedroom has a robe on the back of thedoor (studio is on hook by door) and eachbathroom door has a hook for hanging. Eachbedroom has Kleenex, earplugs, hand cream &luggage rack(s). PLEASE NO FOOD/DRINKS INBEDROOMS.Downstairs: Arrival team will make the beddownstairs based on your guest numbers andneeds. Extra pillows are in closet, if needed.Upstairs Primary Bedroom: TV with RokuUpstairs Secondary Bedroom: Kid's alcove hassleeping bags and roll out mattress if desired. Feel free to use dresser in landing area forextra drawer storage.Downstairs Bathroom ¤Hair dryer, hand towels and wash clothes canbe found in wall cupboard. Storage available incupboard, vanity and mirror medicine cabinets. Hand towels can be added to hooks over vanityduring stay. Please squeegee shower glass andspray "Clean Shower" on walls after showering.Upstairs Bathroom ¤Floors are heated so they will feel warm. Pleasebe sure to keep shower curtain inside tubwhen showering and spread out afterwards toensure drying. Folding stool is next to tub ifneeded for accessing tub. Hair dryer andadditional towels can be found in basketsunder sink (for guests using sleeping loft instudio) and in downstairs bedroom closet.Upstairs Landing Area¤Extra kid play/craft items can be found indresser drawers. Variety of games are in glassbookcase. Fan/light remote is on window sill.Upholstered chair is a recliner.Laundr±Mud Room ¤Please always leave washer door ajar. Laundrydetergent items are in cupboard left of thedryer. Steamer and iron is there too andironing boards are in right closet along withbaby items (pack & play with sheets, boosterchair, high chair and travel stroller). Extrahangers, luggage rack and air mattress too(please contact us before using air mattress). Max trainer and misc exercise equipment incorner. Workout towels are there and basket toput used ones in. Work/desk area if needed.Pop can/bottle recycling and glass recyclingbins are by the door and main bins can befound outside behind the house. Detached Studio ¤The studio is ideal for remote work and offersadditional sleeping capacity for 2 adults. Theloft space should only be accessed by thosesleeping up there for safety reasons. Please becareful going up and down the stairs. Beveragestation and extra stools for seating. Controltemperature with remote & follow instructions.
