FRP CONNECTIONS T H E I N T E R N A L D I G I TA L N E W S S O U R C E F O R F O U N D AT I O N R I S K PA R T N E R S Iss 5 Winter 2022 A Holiday Message every one of you did not go unnoticed in the private equity world We entertained many suitors to serve as a new financial partner and in the end we aligned with Partners Group who saw the potential of this great company In fact we commanded a valuation of 2 8 billion Even Warburg Pincus wished to stay involved with FRP and still retains a partial stake in our business This is a wonderful achievement and I can t thank enough our partners and executive team who have spent countless hours to ensure we chose the right partner to help us continue our journey Charlie Lydecker CEO Foundation Risk Partners A s we close out another record breaking year for Foundation Risk Partners I d like to take this opportunity to thank you all and to reflect on the many achievements and milestones that took place because it s been an amazing ride for us in so many ways The biggest event of the year was the recapitalization of Foundation Risk Partners this past October We set out on a journey in 2017 to be the preeminent middle market insurance brokerage in the U S Together with our financial partner Warburg Pincus we have grown to more than 500 million and our growth trajectory continues to point skyward That growth and all the hard work from each and DRIVING RESULTS During the last several months our sales teams have been competing in a contest The FRP Cup Series which has really helped to bring us together and strengthen our sales capabilities We each have a better understanding of our specialty programs and the importance of collaboration and referring business to one another Alan Florez and Mike Lisa have helped spearhead this effort and it has been a great success The FRP Cup Series has come to an end and we are excited to announce the winners of this special year long event which helped drive new business through cross collaboration referrals and the determination of our sales producers to grow their books We are closing in on 50 million Cont d

GIVING BACK that is our legal fight with Brown Brown regarding their claim that we violated non compete terms and stole intellect seems that no matter the year mother nature has tual property to start this business Of course we did no such a way of reminding us just how powerful she can be thing but it didn t stop them from making 18 claims to that effect Four years later the judge ruled in our favor on every Whether forest fires out west or hurricanes in the east she single count David slayed Goliath I think the main point is never at a loss for disrupting our lives This past season for those that were unaware of this distraction is that FRP we experienced some of her wrath on both sides of Florida stands on the side of truth and integrity and will never back Hurricane Ian devastated several areas with FRP down from those pillars Our reputation was on the line and offices and homes of team members Then only a month we will defend it every time after Ian we were hit with Hurricane Nicole I just want to thank everyone who lent their support and contributed relief in the form of volunteer hours and funds to help bring 2023 NEW BUSINESS GOAL supplies to our clients fellow team members and communities and who continue to rise to the occasion when events This upcoming year promises to be just as exciting as 2022 like these happen I know all of our agencies take pride in We have many initiatives launching some of which I have giving back Acentria Cares CSG and Gaspar Cares to already mentioned and we hope to grow our business even name just a few FRP truly cares more possibly exceeding 600M in 2023 It will take all of our efforts to help us get there and I have all the faith in the Many of you give in different world we will I m so proud and honored to be one of many ways Through sponsorships trusted leaders to help guide this journey These next few donations volunteering your years will see us getting closer and closer to reaching 1B expertise on boards etc The Let s make it happen principled values of our giving culture strengthens HAPPY HOLIDAYS our overall internal culture Fellowship personal kindIn closing to those who lost loved ones this past year ness and understanding is a some we know some we don t we offer our deepest part of our daily practice It s condolences We know the holidays can be especially what makes great leadership difficult and so I want to remind everyone of the many The Leaders Choice across our agencies builds support services that can be accessed through our team is very excited client focused relations and to be part of FRP Employee Assistance Plan EAP located in ADP or by results in success a true sales organization reaching out to our Human Resources Department I We searched 52 potential partners before connecting and have high hopes and ambition for what is to come Ben Clark President Leaders Choice Insurance Acq Sept 2022 LEGAL WIN In case you missed the internal communications that went out on November 21 I wanted to mention an important win for FRP and As always continue to be safe and protect your health Hug your loved ones and have a happy holiday season We ll see you in 2023 Charlie
