Home/My CenterNPATSUsing the Home DashboardThe Home Dashboard provides a setup assistant and several widgets in the My Center and Help & How-to Center sections. You cancustomize their display and arrangement to suit your needs.Setup Assistant - The Setup Assistant appears automatically on the Home Dashboard for your firm’s primary Onvio administrator, andguides them through initial setup. However, any staff member can enable the assistant. Click your profile icon in the upper right corner,click the User Preferences link, mark the box to display the Setup Assistant, and then click Save. Change your own status by clicking the status menu below your name.Customize your status by editing the field to the right of the status menu.In the All Staff tab, create a custom list of staff by clicking the stars next to the names of selected staff members, who will then appearin the Favorites tab.Click an envelope button to open a new email message in your default email application, addressed to the relevant staff member.Staff Availability - This widget allows you to see the current status of the firm's staff. Change a project's status (or a task's status, if applicable) by clicking in the Status column and choosing a different status item.Modify a project by clicking its Edit button.Add a comment to a project by clicking its Comment button.If a project is associated with an Onvio application, launch the project in that application by clicking the project description.My Assignments - This widget shows your open project assignments. If your firm is licensed for Firm Management Advanced, your tasksare displayed, too. You can view each assignment's status, due date, target complete date, and more. Choose one of the pre-set date ranges or create a custom date range.Click Billable, Nonbillable, Administrative, or Total Hours to view detail about each time entry that's included in the summary amount.Time Recap - Use this widget to view a recap of your time entries for a selected date range.Help & How-to Center - this provides links to commonly used articles and videos.

DashboardNPATSA/R Agings — Accounts receivable aging information, in table format.A/R Recap — A recap of accounts receivable activity for the time period you specify,including beginning A/R balance, invoices, receipts, adjustments, late fees, and ending A/Rbalance.Key Totals — Production, adjustment, invoice, realization, and collection totals for the periodto date or year to date, with comparisons to the prior year represented by graphs.WIP Agings — WIP aging information, in table format.WIP Recap — A recap of WIP activity for the time period you specify, including beginningWIP balance, production, billing, adjustments, progress bills, and ending WIP balance.Firm Dashboard - The dashboard contains various time and billing-related widgets.Client Dashboard - Use the Client Dashboard to manage client information, edit projects (andtasks if applicable), and access billing information. Click Client Dashboard at the top of thescreen (or click Client Dashboard on the menu bar) and then select a client from the field at thetop of the dashboard.If you use the icons at the top of the screen to open a timer or to open the Documents area, theclient you selected on the Client Dashboard will also be selected in the timer or in theDocuments area.The dashboard contains various widgets that are grouped by category.

Projects & TasksNPATSAdd a project - create and assign projects to clients to process tax returns, audits andmore.Open/Edit a project - to review the documents, create new documents, uploaddocuments, update information, or manage existing documents to keep your client’sinformation current and correct.Delete a project - When you delete a project or template, it is permanently deletedfrom Onvio Advisory and no longer available.Create project groups - You can create project groups to help you organize projectsinto a group for easy tracking and filtering. You can group projects by any column inthe project list.Add, edit, or delete comments for a project - You can add comments to an Advisoryproject to note specific information about the project or to help you keep track ofinformation about the project.

ReportingNPATSClick Edit to select report options, such as date ranges, sorting, and grouping.Click Open to preview the report in a new browser tab.Click Create to create a copy of the report in PDF, Excel, or rich text format, thatyou can download to your computer or add to the Documents area.Firm Reports - To access firm reports, choose Reporting > Firm Reports.Onvio firm reports provide the information you need to track and analyze your firm'swork. Choose from the list of reports. Report availability is determined by whichproducts you have licensed. For each report, you can perform the following actions.Most reports also enable you to choose a date range, along with detail and groupingoptions. Filtering options are available for all reports.Onvio Usage Reports - Onvio can provide usage data, including a list of active usersessions, login history, and information on which users have accepted the terms andconditions for using Onvio. Access to this data is controlled via permission groups. Ifyou have permissions to view Onvio usage data, choose Reporting > Onvio Usage.Click a tab on the left side of the Onvio Usage screen to view relevant information.List of Available Firm Reports List of Available Usage Reports
