01 ABOUT THE COURSE One Health Kids TM is a series of in print and online materials for children ages 3 to 18 to learn about One Health positive and safe interactions with wildlife and the environment and how they can protect their health preserve wildlife and build a sustainable environment

SERIES TOPICS Each series has multiple books and courses under that topic Subject matter experts may contribute to multiple series and suggest recommendations for new topics within series WHAT IS ONE HEALTH ANIMALS ENVIRONMENT MY HEALTH MY GLOBAL VILLAGE FUTURE ONE HEALTH PROFESSIONALS
FORMATS ONLINE COURSES Online courses are offered in single courses or monthly subscriptions for ages 5 18 and include text photos videos and activities Course participants are able to join the One Health Kids group to interact and share activities BOOKS Books are separated into 3 levels that advance based on the child s reading comprehension and cognitive abilities Books are offered both in print and in eBook format CURRICULUM Series are compiled into a formal curriculum with learning objectives student and educator tools activities and evaluation materials Curricula are offered for elementary middle and high school levels for homeschool public and private school use
LEVELS LEVEL 1 BEGINNER Ages 5 8 beginning to read independently LEVEL 2 INTERMEDIATE Ages 9 12 reading short books and simple chapter books LEVEL 3 ADVANCED Ages 13 18 reading chapter books and complex content
GINGER DIXON Owner of One Life Epi Solutions LLC Epidemiologist specializing in One Health with a background in nursing biology infectious disease and mental health INTERNS Aya Dixon right and other interns can gain experience in education One Health graphic design community engagement and other areas CONTRIBUTORS Mariana Delgado right and other contributors are subject matter experts in their fields who create written material for specific topics within each series We seek out subject matter experts who can really delve into topics in One Health to cover both breadth and depth for youth ABOUT 02 THE TEAM
