THE POWER OFGRATITUDE: MENTAL ANDPHYSICAL BENEFITSExpressing gratitude is linked to numerous mental and physical benefits, such asbetter sleep, mood, and immunity. Research has also found that gratitude candecrease depression, anxiety, and chronic pain. Our brains are wired to solveproblems, rather than appreciate what we have. To experience the benefits ofgratitude, we must consciously override this natural tendency. Our actions can have a significant biological impact, so it's essential to be mindful of how we behave. For instance, expressing gratitude can induce the release of oxytocin, known as the "love hormone," which fosters asense of connection with others. By sharing kindness, we not only enhance ourown overall well-being and happiness but also positively impact those aroundus.Boost your spirits with this simple technique if you feel lost, overwhelmed, or down this season. There's a simple way to upliftyour mood: using gratitude. A key component of Thanksgiving ispracticing gratitude, which can enhance your mental well-being.Gratitude is a vital ingredient for a happy life, and it should be integratedinto your daily routine. Begin your day by thinking of someone you'regrateful for, whether it's a friend who sends you funny texts, a teacherwho recognizes your child's gifts, or the barista who serves you coffeewith a smile and friendly conversation. Later, take a moment to thankthat person with a kind word, a note, or a text.“Implementing the practice of Gratitude hastransformed my life. It is a way to teach the mind torecognize and acknowledge all there is to be gratefulfor. It is easy to focus on the hardships and thenegatives in life, which is why I have made it a habitto practice Gratitude every sunrise and right beforebedtime. I like to be mindful and implement thistechnique when I speak. It works well, I find myselfspeaking with much gratitude and positivity over mylife, it fills me with a sense of Fulfillment and Joy.Gratitude is the Fruit of my Life.” To have ahome andfamily to go toevery nightFor myFamilyMy 20 yearold dog GoodHealthand mykids My cat andpeople Icare about Guidance, loved ones , and myhusky. EMPOWERMENT THROUGH KNOWLEDGE: NARCAN TRAINING AND LOCATIONS TO PICK UP What does Naloxone do: 11Opioids work by binding to certain sites in the brain, which can reduce theperception of pain and affect breathing. Naloxone, on the other hand, reverses theeffects of opioids by binding more tightly to these same sites (stronger affinity) thanopioids. This knocks the drug off these sites for a period of time, which allowsbreathing to be restored.. As many as one in four are raised around anadult who misuses or is dependent on a substance. While exposureto addiction naturally creates trauma, it also exposes children tothe risk of losing a family member to an overdose.” AdministeringNaloxone can be a life-saving action for family and friends, and isless traumatic for young children than witnessing a loved one diefrom an overdose without being able to do anything?Learn how toadminister theopioid overdosereversal drugnaloxoneIs Naloxone safe:Naloxone is a secure medication that does not produce any significant effectsexcept in individuals who have opioids in their system. Withdrawal symptoms fromnaloxone can include headaches, changes in blood pressure, rapid heart rate, sweating, nausea, vomiting, and tremors, but these symptoms are typically short-lived. We hunted, fished, and were veryfamily oriented. We also loved music and dancing. Our Yoeme areknown best for our sacred Deer Dance and Deer which are stillpracticed today in sacred ceremonies. The deer is very sacred to ourpeople, representing goodness. The dance tells the story of the deer, his brother, and the flower world known as, Seyewailo. The dance isdone to thank the deer that is to be hunted for its sacrifice so that thepeople can continue living. We also believed in taking care of theearth and everything in it.
