September was an action-packed month of service and networking! We kicked off our Stretch and Serve series with yoga featuring Cire Harris from WalkGood LA. Later, we assisted Operation School Bell in preparing for their first “Wheels”event of the school year while enjoying some delicious breakfast burritos. We also launched our Program Visit Day series with the Foster Children’s ResourceCenter, where five YPG members, trained by our Hilltoppers auxiliary, became stellarpersonal shoppers and helped foster and other underserved youth pick out brand newclothing and supplies. To wrap up the month, we celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month with our Sip and Serveevent, featuring delicious Latinx-inspired cocktails sponsored by Amaras Mezcal andAltos Tequila, along with tasty Salvadoran pupusas. We also assembled hygiene kits forthe Foster Children’s Resource Center. Thank you all for your incredible support andinvolvement! and a huge shout-out to everyone who donated hygiene supplies for ourkiddos!
