Chair LetterScott PalermoA Skeetz ProductionPage 4ScottGreetings,A wise man once said, “Life moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop and look around once in a while, youcould miss it.”I was 19-years old when I saw Ferris Bueller’s Day Off and that statement did make an impact on me as Iwas transitioning from being a kid and moving into the real world, but I would have never imagined atthat time that things would continue to move faster and faster forever and ever. It is hard to keep up!I turn 59 in a couple of weeks and time seems to move faster with every additional “trip around the Sun”.This year that I have served as chair has flown by and we have made progress on some of the things Iwanted to do with the Chamber but there is still a lot to accomplish in the last four months of 2024. We had 98 attendees at the September luncheon to honor our Noco Treasures but Micah Mayfield andour Ambassador Committee is determined to draw over 100 before the year is out. Be sure to sign up forthe foundational gathering of our chamber to network with others and keep in touch with what is goingon. We have surpassed our goal of 64 new members for the year but we would certainly like more so tell thepeople you work with about the great things happening here. Also, please remember that all of ourmembers are invited to ribbon cuttings. They are a great opportunity to get aquatinted and learn abouthow members can work together! The billboard program is running well but we have a few open spots left so we are running a specialthrough the end of the year. You can now get a one-month ad for $200. 3- and 6-month terms are stillavailable as well as the best value, year package. Jump on this chance to advertise your business to all ofNorth County as spots fill quickly and it is on a first-come, first-served basis…Yes, the year has gone by quickly but, in addition to the things I have mentioned here, there are still 38leads team meetings, 4 WIN lunches, 3 Off The Clock, quite a few ribbon cuttings and, of course, ourannual Gala. I am so looking forward to our big Winter Wonderland event but I don’t want to miss all theother great things that are going on too.I am going to stop now.. and look around.Keep it REAL,
