The Jackson JournalJuly 24, 2023Nashville, TN4Caring Police Respond Program The Caring Police Respond (CPR) program was established to give Nashville’s police officers the ability to support the community they serve where no other resources may exist. If you should encounter an individual who need help, and has no other means of support, the CPR program is here to help! Every precinct and division should have access to gift cards for smaller needs (groceries, gas, flat tire, etc.) If your precinct / division doesn’t have any cards left, please contact your FOP for more. Have a larger need? Submit your detailed request to the committee outlining the exact need here: CPR Request Form. FOP Youth Camp Partners with MNPD PAL Program to Host Fall Break CampFor more than fifty years, the Nashville FOP has run a summer youth camp on Old Hickory lake that serves children in the Nashville community. This year we have expanded our program to include a week-long fall break day camp! Nashville’s finest, serve as counselors and build positive relationships every day of camp!Seen here, are our officers engaging in daily activities with the children and showing them some of the ways that police officers can serve their community. The best part about this program is that we get to show these kids the real heart behind the badge and show them that police officers genuinely care about them. Would you like to become a camp counselor in 2024? Reach out to Camp Director Allen Herald at fopallen@aol.com for more information!
