3AD DIGESTThe Ofcial Newsletter of the CIAAANOVEMBER 2023A CIAAA Update- Caleigh WojcickiExecutive Director, CIAAA Hello Athletic Directors and Partners, I wanted to reach out from behind the scenes at the Canadian Interscholas-tic Athletic Administrators Association to let our wonderful membership know about what has been going on and what is coming up with our or-ganization. With the addition of the Manitoba (MHSAA), we have expand-ed our membership to include FIVE partner provinces. We are excited to provide resources, professional development opportunities and build the Athletic Administrators designation throughout the country. Over the last few years there has been successful milestones for the CIAAA, but a good organization looks to the future. Over the next year we will be working on our next Strategic Plan (2024-2028). Stay tuned for input sur-veys as we value the input of our membership to provide direction moving forward. After the success of last years National Athletic Directors conference, we are excited to welcome everyone to Regina for 2024. After working virtual-ly, it was so nice to see live discussions, social activities and connections forming. A couple of our talented CIAAA instructors have been working hard building a new Mental Health Leadership Training Course that will be launched at the 2024 Conference. The feedback from all of our LTP courses is so positive, so for the new Athletic Directors out there, we hope take the opportunity to enroll in our Webinar Courses and make the time to check out the conference. AD DIGESTAn important part of the CIAAA is our goal to work for our members and partners. We appreciate feed-back and conversations about what you would like to see. This organization was built and continues to succeed because of the passion Athletic Directors have for their programs and the betterment of school-based athletics. It is the collaboration of ideas and willingness to teach, learn and grow that benets each school in their athletics and population as a whole. My request is that you do not hesitate to reach out. If there is a resource you would like to see, or if you have built a tool that could be benecial to other ADs or if you would like to have a Workshop or Leadership Training Course delivered in your area. I look forward to connecting and working with you all this year. Caleigh WojcickiCIAAA Executive Directorcaleigh@ciaaa.caRegistration for the 2024 National Conference will open Dec. 1, 2023.
