1WHY DO I NEED THIS?Nova Mutual is a place Where U Matter. That’s why we want to make it as easy as possible for you to work with our brand. This Brand Guide was put together to help you have handy-dandy access to all of the brand files that you might need, as well as some rationale behind the ‘why’. From our logos to fonts to slide backgrounds, everything you need is accessible from within these pages. Finally, we have only one page with “suggestions” on what not to do.

2THE LOGOThe Nova Mutual Logo is intentionally simple which serves to aid in its recognizability and memorability. It utilizes a clean, rounded, sans-serif font with a touch of vibrant teal. The eect is both professional, yet approachable & friendly.LOGO FILES
Most of the time you’ll need the logo on white. In that case use the one that looks like this.Sometimes you’ll need to place a logo on a dark background. Use the reversed one for this.Sometimes you’ll need a logo for a fax. Since one can’t fax colour, use the greyscale logo.
3THE FONTSNova uses two dierent font families.Atten Round New is used by the Brand Department. We use this it in all of our marketing materials. Avenir Next is available to the whole company. We should be using this font in the rest of our documentation.AVENIR NEXT FONT

4THE COLOURSNova is an equal opportunity employer for all the colours of the rainbow. Literally. The teal, orange, and yellow, along with charcoal are our primary colours. 5THE ICONSNova uses a couple of dierent icons to accent the primary logo. They all are based o of the ‘U’ in the Nova Logo.Feel free to use these to add some spice to your documents.ICON FILES
You may have noticed this icon peeking in from the upper left corner of many of our documents. This icon is available in all of our brand colours, as well as white.This icon is usually used at the bottom of a document or a slide. It is usually on the bottom-right, opposite the icon above.We only have Nova Teal versions of this icon.
SLIDES & STUFF6Nova has created a package of branded slides for all of your presentation needs, as well as an editable letterhead.If your need is more specific than what you see here, feel free to contact the Brand Department.
