THE BEAUTY OF NEWBORN PHOTO SESSIONS

Studio, Hospital, Your Home 

What I love most about working with newborns, is capturing the immediate bond and loving connection the baby has with its family. Mom is security, love, and food-- Dad is curiosity, wonder, and fun!  Pre-Covid, I worked for Mom365 photographing newborns in many NY hospitals. While working in the hospitals, the nurses that I worked with told me that the baby can hear external sounds while in the Mom's womb at around 27 weeks, and they may also recognize a familiar touch. This explains the wonder and love in a baby’s eyes when Mommy & Daddy are close and talking to them. 

While working for Mom365, I worked at: NY Presbyterian; North Shore; LIJ; and Mercy Hospital in Rockville Center. Using all the safety techniques I was trained in during my three+ years working in these hospitals, the entire process is very efficient and unobtrusive.  

Most of the photos are of the baby, but I also include many shots of Baby with Mom, Baby with Dad and then family together, Siblings and Grandparents are always welcome!   Newborns, in the first days after birth,  are truly the most beautiful and precious moments to capture... magical newborn babies, and blissfully happy parents, I LOVE sharing this time!
