WHAT ARE SOME GENERAL REMODEL COST RANGES Generally speaking additions are the most expensive item when it comes to remodels Anything structural is going to be more expensive ADDITIONS MOVING WALLS KITCHEN REMODEL MAIN BATH REMODEL ADDITIONAL BATH REMODEL UPDATE FLOORS ALL NEW ROOF REPLACE ALL WINDOWS UPDATE FIREPLACE COSMETIC STRUCTURAL
WHO WOULD I BE WORKING WITH Sales Contact Project Manager Architectural Designer Billing Contact Interior Designer Warranty Manager IS YOUR TEAM FAMILIAR WITH MY NEIGHBORHOOD GUIDELINES AND CAN YOU HELP ME NAVIGATE Absolutely We ve been building and remodeling in Central Oregon for 40 years and we are very familiar with all of the different neighborhood DRC guidelines We will ensure that your home complies with the guidelines and we re happy to answer questions that you have at any time I HAVE HOUSE PLANS FOR MY HOME DO YOU NEED THOSE Yes house plans are incredibly helpful for remodel projects WILL SOMEONE ON YOUR TEAM BE ABLE TO HELP ME MAKE SELECTIONS Yes You will have an interior designer assigned to your project who will be more than happy to help you make selections and offer guidance
WHAT DOES THE NORMAN REMODEL PROCESS LOOK LIKE INITIAL CONSULTATION We start out by having an initial consultation phone call This gives our sales team a chance to gather all necessary information about you your project scope budget and timeline INTERNAL REVIEW The sales team will bring your project scope to the greater team design departments and construction management to discuss the project and decide if it will be a good fit for our current workload SITE VISIT If we decide to move your project forward the sales and design teams will come out to your home for a site visit During this meeting we will have you walk us around and talk through what you would like to do We will likely be taking measurements as well as a few photos LETTER OF INTENT It is at this stage that we invite you to sign a Letter of Intent LOI to secure a spot in our remodel queue We require a non refundable deposit at this time
PRICING DESIGN Our design team will work with you to make selections and give you an idea of what the space s will ultimately look like It is at this point that we can start sending out the scope to our subcontractors for bids REMODEL PROPOSAL We gather all of the bids from subcontractors and put together a pricing set After the scope is finalized we will put together a final proposal for your review PERMITS APPROVALS Our team coordinates the permitting process and if applicable submits for approval from your neighborhood Design Review Committee We work with the review boards until everything is fully approved PROJECT START This is an exciting time where you get to see your dreams take shape We manage all of the appropriate sub contractors and vendors while overseeing your project Between our on site project managers and designer site visits we will keep you regularly updated on the progress
