Every District Governor probably says the same thing at about this time – “How have three monthsgone by in my term?” It’s been a tremendous honor to serve as your Governor. I have had a great timevisiting clubs throughout the CNH District, and I am looking forward to more official visits with allKiwanians throughout the rest of my term! One of the messages I always try to deliver when I visit (besides having fun with Kiwanis at your clubsand divisions!) is to look to build membership at every opportunity. Whether it’s a 2 For 2 Event, a clubopen house, or a service project you can use to not only improve the community but to spread theword about Kiwanis, always be looking for that opportunity. Increasing membership is critical to beingable to provide the service in the community for which we are so well known.Service is the key to what we do for our communities. Building capacity for that service is the reasonwe emphasize the need to increase membership. Don’t be taken in by the cynics who say that there issome ulterior motive for asking clubs and divisions to work to increase the number of Kiwanians wehave here and throughout the world. We are members of Kiwanis for service, fellowship, and fun. As we continue our journey together, let's embrace every moment with enthusiasm and a sharedsense of purpose. Remember, every new member we welcome into our Kiwanis family brings freshideas, energy, and opportunities to make a difference. The friendships we forge and the fun we havealong the way can only strengthen our resolve to serve our communities. So, let's keep the momentum going! Encourage your friends, family, and colleagues to join us in thisincredible journey. Together, we can achieve even greater heights and bring joy and support to thosewho need it most. After all, with Kiwanis, the more, the merrier! Here's to many more months of service, fun, and camaraderie. Thank you for your dedication andpassion. Let's make the most of every opportunity and continue to make a difference, one member, one child and one community at a time.2024-2025 CNH DISTICT GOVERNORCNH KIWANIS MAGAZINE03Doug Frost
