Active listening means focusing completely on what someone issaying, understanding it, responding thoughtfully, andremembering the conversation. Instead of just hearing the words,active listeners engage with the speaker, show empathy, andprovide feedback, which helps create a deeper connection. Thisskill is important in both personal and work interactions because itbuilds trust, resolves conflicts, and improves teamwork. In thissession, you will learn about different levels of listening and how todevelop active listening skills using various techniques. You willalso have a chance to practice these skills in a fun coachingactivity with a partner. We are offering some popular workshops, as well as new ones like Storytelling andBuilding Confidence. We have teamed up with EqualiTeach to create a workshop aimedat inspiring and empowering employees to foster positive culturalchange within the organisation. Participants will learn aboutdiscrimination and harassment in the workplace, the importance ofengaging with equality, equity, diversity, and inclusion, and theeffects of unconscious bias and privilege. They will identify bestpractices for embedding equality and inclusion into their roles,discuss effective ways to respond to microaggressions andcommit to practical changes in their practices. Creating inclusion in the workplaceBuilding confidenceYou will learn how to recognise and display confident behaviour,even when you don't feel confident inside. We'll explore strategiesto boost your confidence and assertiveness, helping youunderstand what self-confidence is and why it matters. Bymanaging situations where you lack confidence and confrontingthe fear of failure that fuels self-doubt, you'll learn to communicatein a way that appears more self-assured. Through practicalguidance and supportive techniques, this workshop aims toempower you with the tools to enhance your self-confidence andembrace your true potential.
