Mi WOW programme 2 Returning to the Workforce Training for Migrant Women 3 Hiring for Diversity Training 1 Public Conversation Hubs The Returning to the Workforce Training is a nation wide 4 week programme aimed at preparing Migrant Women and Migrant Descendant Women to go back into the labour market There are a total of four trainings per year The Hiring for Diversity Training is a nation wide training directed at HR staff and or people involved in hiring processes so that together we can build bridges to overcome the barriers that Migrant Women and Migrant Descendant Women face in accessing the Irish labour market Every year Mi WOW runs four nation wide free and open to the public Conversation Hubs This is a space for Migrant Women and Migrant Descendant Women HR staff and or people involved in hiring processes to discuss learn and exchange information about employment rights the immigration system in Ireland and the importance of networking as well as to generate an open bi directional safe and respectful conversation on unconscious bias This 4 week programme offers IT Up skilling four sessions Communication skills for work four sessions Foundation on the labour market four sessions One to one guiding session for each participant two sessions Follow up support after the training for a period of six months WHO IS ELIGIBLE FOR THIS TRAINING If you are a Migrant Woman or a Migrant Descendant Woman living in Ireland and You have the right to work in Ireland even if part time only You are unemployed and or studying You are ready to get back to work and re launch your career and You have an upper intermediate level of English skills for work purposes Please contact us on 0873270540 0871672039 or miwow newcommunities ie to talk more about Mi WOW and to complete an entry assessment We are waiting to hear from you Note All Migrant Women or Migrant Descendant Women who fulfil the requirements set out above are welcomed to apply for the Mi WOW Returning to the Workforce Training but priority will be given to women who are n Q1 in receipt of social welfare payments OR who are n Q1 required to look for work under the requirements of the social welfare benefits they receive T he Hiring for Diversity T raining runs three times a year Note All trainings offered by Mi WOW are conducted in English If you think you could benefit from English classes before joining one of our trainings get in touch with us and we will refer you to an English course within NCP
