We're a great base for those visiting central and southern Scotland. Thecosmopolitan city of Edinburgh is only 50 minutes away while the vibrantbuzz of Glasgow is a little less. A truly unique location within this WorldHeritage site provides an unforgettable experience. With free parking andall the facilities of the hotel, including our Leisure Suite with swimming pool,sauna, steam room, state of the art gymnasium and beauty rooms, wherebetter to rest and explore.Whilst here it is well worth visiting the Annie McLeod Experience, afascinating audio-visual ride through the history of the village, and which ispart of the New Lanark Visitor Attraction. Bottled Water: Should you wish bottled water in your bedroom please contact Reception and we shallprovide this for you and charge as per consumption Breakfast Hours: A traditional Scottish Cooked Breakfast complimented by a Continental offering is served inMill Restaurant on level 3 at the following times:Monday to Friday 7.00am – 10.00am Saturday and Sunday 8.00am – 10.30amBank Holidays 8.00am – 10.30amShould you prefer breakfast delivered to your bedroom please complete the breakfast cardthat can be found within the drawer of your dressing table. Your breakfast tray will bedelivered at the time you stipulate Should you require an early breakfast, please contact reception by dialling ‘0’. The NightPorter will prepare a Continental Tray and deliver to your bedroomBar & Lounge:The Bar & Lounge are located on level two and are open to both residents and non-residents. Hot and cold beverages are available from 12noon and a lunch and light bite menuis served from 12.30pm until 5.00pm daily. Afternoon tea is also served daily plus we have agood selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages on offer. Bus Service:We operate an electric bus on a daily basis and this can provide transport to Lanark bus ortrain station for our guests should they wish to visit Lanark or require transportation to thetrain / bus station. It operates daily between the hours of 10.30am and 3.45pm and isavailable from the Institute Building, adjacent to the village gates. Coffee / Tea making: For your convenience we have provided tea and coffee making facilities within yourbedroom. Should you require additional items for your tea and coffee tray please contactreception by dialling ‘0’. We can also provide fresh milk on request. Check In /out: Check in time is from 3pm with checkout at 11am on your day of departure. Should you wishto check out before 7.00am please contact reception by dialling ‘0’ the night before. OurReception Team will arrange for your bill to be organised ensuring a quick check out in themorning by the Night Porter.Should you wish to extend your check out time please inform reception by dialling ‘0’. Pleasenote there is an additional charge for a later check out and is only available subject toavailability.Conference & Events:There are 5 rooms available in the hotel for conferences and events catering from 2 to 180people. We have competitive daily delegate packages available or indeed we can tailor apackage to suit your needs and budget. In the event that the sign isleft on the handle all day the housekeeping team will leave clean towels outside your room.

Electrical fans: Should you require an additional fan for your bedroom, this can be supplied byhousekeeping.Please dial ‘0’ and Guest Services will bring one to your bedroomEmergency fire: A fire notice can be found on your bedroom door. Please familiarise yourself with our fireprocedures. Should the fire alarm be activated, guests should evacuate the building andcongregate at the Fire Assembly point at the Institute Building (located adjacent to the mainvillage gates) where a member of staff will issue further instructions. On hearing the firealarms please evacuate the building as soon as possible. Do not telephone reception to findout whether you should evacuate or not. It is your responsibility to leave the building as soonas the alarms have been activated.Emergency medical: In the first instance please dial 0 and reception will assist where possible. Alternatively, callNHS 24 on 111 which provides health advice when you are feeling unwell.Heating: The radiators are controlled by a thermostatic controller located on the wall next to themain light switch. Should you feel the temperature is too low please boost it by pressing theup arrow. Please also ensure the dial on the radiator is turned to high. Some bedrooms maynot have a controller on the wall. In this instance the temperature of the room can becontrolled by pressing the up or down arrows on the side of the radiator. Internet Connection:We are pleased to offer to all of our guest’s free unlimited Wi-Fi within all bedrooms andpublic areas of the hotel. Leisure Suite:The Leisure Suite is available to all hotel guests. Here you will find the swimming pool, bubblepool, steam room, sauna and gymnasium. Use of towels and locker facilities are provided ona complimentary basis. Please sign in at the Leisure Suite reception before using thefacilities. Last entry is 45 minutes before closing time. Swimwear and accessories can bepurchased at the Leisure Suite reception. There are also beauty rooms offering a selectionof treatments daily from 9am to 5pm. Reception hours: Our reception desk is manned 24 hours a day. The desk will be covered by a receptionistfrom 7.00am to 10.00pm. After that the night porter will be available to offer any services.Please dial ‘0’ for reception.Room service: Room service is available between 12noon and 9pm. A sandwich selection is available 24hrs.To order from the room service menu please contact reception by dialling ‘0’. Safe deposit: Should you wish personal items to be stored in a safe and secure place, the Receptionist willensure that they are stored in the hotel safe. Safety deposit boxes are not available. A receiptwill be issued to you when storing items in the safe. Please note that the hotel cannot acceptresponsibility for any items not deposited for safe keeping and that access to the safe is notavailable between the hours of 10pm and 7am.Smoking policy: The hotel operates a strict non-smoking policy or vaping policy throughout. Smoking orvaping is not permitted anywhere in the building. A fixed penalty of £100.00 will be charged.
