As a trust, we are concerned with the issues of our migrant communities, especially their career journeys. We strive to support migrants by providing a pathway to settle into mainstream careers in NZ via information, guidance and upskilling opportunities. In the past 3 years, our trust has conducted 20+ physical and online events whilst creating important partnerships with key stakeholders and developing a community of over 1000 migrants who have benefited from these events. ABOUT THE CAREER CLINIC PROGRAMME Recently, we have started a targeted programme, The Career Clinic. This service is available to select individuals, who need one-to-one guidance in their career journey. This programme gives them access to personalized counseling sessions and a focused approach targeting their individual needs. This service is provided by successful migrants for migrants in need. The greater mission of the trust is to achieve social equity, inclusion, and social cohesion through better economic integration of the migrant workers and people from ethnic communities, in the New Zealand society. The Migrant Careers Support Trust is supported by many government and non-government bodies/agencies and partners who can help and provide guidance to those in need.
