Who We Are Mary Hill Youth and Family Center MHYFC is a Class 1 QRTP Qualified Residential Treatment Program licensed by Ohio Mental Health and Addiction Services OhioMAS We serve all gender and non binary youth between the ages of 10 17 with complex behavioral health and multi system needs MHYFC was designed in cooperation with area child serving agencies with the goal of expanding capacity for residential behavioral health care in our area One of our goals is for youth and their families to be able to access intensive services and supports they need in or near their communities Our 16 bed facility is in the Appalachian region of Southeast Ohio in the rolling hills of Athens County Our program is here to provide safe and nurturing care to youth who have experienced complex trauma and to help them learn to safely cope with the myriad of emotional and behavioral issues that often result from such trauma We serve all genders and are an unlocked facility so we are unable to accept juvenile sex offenders or sexually aggressive youth The ages accepted will be dependent on our current milieu Treatment services include individual family and group therapy as well as expressive therapies such as art movement music and recreation These therapeutic approaches help youth further develop their capacity to selfregulate and provide them with opportunities to build healthy relationships and form trust in others Our program provides safety and structure to the youth in our care with a 1 5 staffto youth ratio private single bedrooms access to 24 7 emergency nursing and or therapy and security cameras in shared areas Mary Hill Youth and Family Center focuses on a family centered treatment approach and endeavors to strengthen and preserve family connections We understand that connection support and belonging are imperative to the success of the youth s integration back into their community We are committed to developing collaborative wrap around care for the youth and their family during and after the youth s residential treatment stay We strive to build a bridge of service to ensure smooth transitions for the youth and their families as they move from one level of care to another TO MAKE A REFERRAL Referrals can be made by calling Admissions and Engagement directly Monday through Friday between the hours of 8 30 AM to 4 30 PM or by requesting a referral form via email 800 574 4855 237 740 702 2215 MHYFC isbh org
