Marshall Statesmen It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to the 2017 fall season here at Marshall High School We have seen a number of incredible capital improvements to our indoor and outdoor athletic facilities over the past few years This all happened through the combined effort of our recent renovation and the support of our Athletic Booster Club The positive participation of our community is the key to Marshall High School s continued success We are fortunate to have supportive parents teachers administrators and community leaders The goal of Marshall Athletics is that our athletes will look back on their experience at Marshall with fondness knowing they were developed to their full potential and were an integral part of the Marshall Community Marshall High School Statesmen are committed to excellence in sportsmanship and character We are very excited that our student athletes have amassed 43 conference 7 region and 2 state championships over the past 4 years through their hard work on the field However it is the combined grade point average over 3 6 for those athletes that reminds us that they are winning where it matters most in the classroom I know that everyone s experience at Marshall High School will be positive and embody the characteristics of the strong Statesmen community I am proud and fortunate to be part of the Marshall Community as both the Director of Student Activities and an alumnus of this fine school GO STATESMEN Joe Swarm Joe Swarm Director of Student Activities 5
