DESK TOP AND EDGE OPTIONS
The desks are available in two main construction options, each offering
different edge and laminate features. This blend of functionality, durability,
and customization makes the Method Series Collaborative Desks ideal for
dynamic educational environments.
MDF CORE WITH HIGH PRESSURE LAMINATE (HPL)
Core Material: 1-1/8” medium density fiberboard (MDF).
Laminate: 30/1000” thick high-pressure laminate (HPL)
with phenolic backing.
Edge: Protected with a Herculean non-permeable polyethylene edge.
Edge Finish Options: Platinum, Black, Blue and Red
Surface Options: Standard HPL finishes and custom
non-standard laminates for project quantities.
SOLID CORE WITH HIGH PRESSURE LAMINATE (HPL)
Core Material: 1-1/8” high-density 47 LB solid core.
Laminate: 30/1000” thick HPL with phenolic backing.
Edge: Safety-protected by a flat vinyl T-mold, securely locked with
concealed staples.
Edge Finish Options: Standard HPL finishes, including a
White Marker Board (WMB) surface, and custom
non-standard laminates for project quantities.
LEGS
Diameter: 1 ¾” round straight leg.
Adjustability: 8700 series: Adjustable from 25" to 34" in 1” increments.
8750 series: Adjustable from 19" to 28" in 1” increments.
Construction: Upper portion: 14 GA powder-coated. Inserts: 16 GA
chrome. Attachment: Hex drive metal insert, machine screw, and locking
washer, ensuring a metal-to-metal connection.
Leg Color Options: Platinum, Black, Custom colors available for large
project orders.
OPTIONS
Storage: Book boxes and racks can be added for extra storage. Book Bag
Hook: For hanging bags and keeping the workspace clear. Casters:
Available for increased mobility and easy reconfiguration of desk
arrangements.
