ABOUT USBuckley Cricket Club is a club with a long history in the local community. The glorious game has been played at the ground for over 100 years and has a bright future moving forward.The club has 3 senior teams playing in the North Wales League as well as a prosperous Junior secon. Development of our junior players is key to the club evolving and growing over the coming years. The youngsters start with the All Stars programme which is an introducon to the game before moving into the age group categories and playing matches in local leaguesOur junior programme has reaped rewards in recent years with our latest success, Seren Smale being chosen for England in the rst ever Women’s ICC U’19 T20 World Cup in South Africa in 2023 and now into the England A team in 2024In 2023, the club elded its very rst Women’s Team with weekly training sessions and matches played throughout the season.One of the aims for 2024 is to explore Disability Cricket with a view to hosng some games at the club which will encourage Junior & Senior players to get involved.We are a very friendly & welcoming club focusing on the community, family, inclusion & development for the future. We want to work with local businesses who would like to promote their businesses during our Cricket Games & social acvies.O the eld, we have a brand new commiee that have come together from varied business backgrounds and are very passionate about Buckley Cricket Club & its future. We have lots of plans for the future, which include upgrading the clubhouse, providing improved changing facilies & expanding our oering to the wider community.
