NEWS FROM THE CHURCHES Central, Idabel – recently held a revival and reports 6 salvations and 2 dedications. The church also reports having 71 in attendance on Easter Sunday. Clayton Avenue, Hugo – Dr. Steve Deaton has retired as pastor. FBC Antlers – is hosting their 18th Annual Paper Doll Brunch on Saturday, May 31st from 10AM – 1PM. Proceeds will be used to assist the Madill Girls’ Home in purchasing necessities for the girls living there. Please contact the church at 580-298-3374 by May 19th for table reservations. One Creek Valley – will be celebrating their 25th Anniversary on May 18th. Their special guest is Coach T from Oklahoma Baptist. Let’s rejoice that we have a role in advancing the Kingdom of God through KBA and around the world. God uses your gifts not only to impact the lives of others but also to change your own life as you honor Him with your resources (Proverbs 3:9-10). Not everyone can give the same amount, but everyone can give. We are asking our two hundred churches across SE Oklahoma in Frisco, LeFlore, Atoka/Coal, Pittsburgh, and San Bois Baptist Associations to prayerfully give to the Father’s Day Offering to kick off this capital campaign for KBA. The Executive Board of Frisco Baptist Association will be meeting on May 13th at FBC Boswell. I will be asking our Board to approve a motion to give $50,000 dollars from our savings to the KBA Father’s Day Offering.
