Chair LetterKittyKitty HarrisonPage 4Hello May!Does February like March? No, but April May Thank you to everyone who attended our sold-out MusicTrivia. What a night it was! Record crowds, fun and fabulous trivia by Big Papa G, great food, and drink, what more could you ask for. Now it is on to our June 2 Golf Tournament. Space is limited in thistournament, so please hurry and get your team together. It should be another awesome Chamber event. Why did the teacher wear sunglasses to school? Because her students were so bright! I hope you were able tojoin us for the Greater North County Chamber of Commerce Scholarship luncheon. What a great event! Ourscholarship recipients were awesome. Thank you so much to our Scholarship Committee for their hard workand dedication. With over 80 applicants, it was a tough job to narrow it down to just 8 recipients. Each andevery student selected had a powerful story and impressive resume. How excited was the gardener about spring? So excited he wet his plants. May is also the month for theValley of Flowers. It runs from May 5-7. The Chamber is putting together a walking crew for the Parade onMay 7. We would love for you to join us. And don’t forget about the great Plant Sale at the Valley of Flowers. Lots of beautiful plants will be available for purchase at the Eagan Center. What month of the year is the shortest? May (only 3 letters) I hope this letter finds you all well. We havemuch to celebrate in North County. For me, I celebrate the many friendships that the Chamber has broughtto me. Thank you all for being a part of the Chamber and an important part of my life!!!Warmest regards,

We want the best for our clients, friends and family and the relationships that we have built in the chamber and specifically in our leads group allows us to provide introductions for the services that they need.At each meeting we feature one of our members so they have extra time to educate our members on how they can best serve our group and the community.Leads 2 meets on the 2nd and 4th Thursday from Noon to 1pm at the Chamber office. At 7:45 the meeting opens with an inspirational moment, members take turns sharing about new developments in their business, suggesting what leads would be helpful to them and reporting on leads they have given on behalf of others. Members take turns making a ten-minute presentation, updating the group on new developments in their business, seeking advice and sharing expertise. Leads Group I is seeking new membership in the following areas: HVAC, electric, plumbing, banking. Interested persons are welcome to visit the group and participate in a meeting. To become a full member, the business must be a Greater North County Chamber member and their business cannot be in competition with the business of another group member. This is theperfect group for the person who wants to hit the ground running. Here, the early bird doesn't get the worm: that bird can purchase a super breakfast - supporting another Chamber business (Helfer's) - while honing business strategies. To get more information, contact Teri Reiter, secretary for the group, at teri@freedom-title.com, or call Teri at (314) 495-9800.
