2housed and unhoused clients include but are not limited to; CAS/OGD casesupport, ID & Tax clinics, vocational support, educational support, culturalhealing and teaching, elder support, cultural activities, case managementand community referrals, food provisions, healthcare attending support, lifeskills training, mental health services, outreach, transportation and manyother tailored services that our clients need to succeed.BNH MISSIONH O U S I N G & P R O G R A M M I N G S U P P O R TF R O M H O M E L E S S N E S S T O H O U S E DBNH works to get individuals off the streets and supportthem into housing. Our goal is to transition clientsalong our housing continuum and into safe and secureshelter or housing. Our knowledgeable staff workcollaboratively with clients to set their own goals basedon their individual journey that they would like tonavigate while searching for housing. At all our homes,we believe in meeting clients where they are at. Weknow that everyone’s healing journey is different andsuccess also looks different for every individual. BNHoffers various programs and services to our housedand unhoused clients. L A N D S C A P E G R A N TBNH is delighted to announce that it hasbeen awarded a grant from Tree Canadathrough their Tremendous Communitystream. This funding will allow BNH toembark on an exciting project torevitalize the garden area at our Elder building. BNH- Beacon Brant NewsAs a For Indigenous By Indigenous Agency, wetake pride in our capacity to provide culturallyrelevant services to our clients. As BNHcontinues to evolve, we actively participate intraining and workshops to ensure our skillsremain current and aligned with communityneeds. This past winter, many BNH staffparticipated in an Ontario Federation ofFriendship Centres (OFIFC) Kanawayhitowin 101cultural competency training. During thistraining staff gained awareness in address theend of violence against Indigenous women bylearning signs of abuse in communities.
