The person in question was Sir William Lyons, and his life and philosophy was the subject of a comprehensive presentation given by Tony Merrygold, Vehicle Collection Manager for Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust.For their presentations, the JEC Notts. & Borders Region have exclusive use of the Conservative Club in Newark – an excellent venue, easily found, with ample parking. Presentations are held in the function room and followed by a delicious Sunday roast in the dining room, which makes for a very worthwhile day out.Mike Bools, Events Planner for the local region is certainly making the most of Tony’s generosity and enthusiasm for giving presentations on various Jaguar topics.
