םירופ תחמש 6:32 PM March 15, 2019 ח ‘ב רדא ‘עשת“ט ארקיו תשרפ  March 15 - Late Friday dismissal begins  March 17 – Torah Academy 37th Gala Dinner  March 20– March 22- see schedule on page 2. The ךורע ןחלש in ו״לק ןמיס states that םיקוספ ׳ימ תוחפ ןירוק ןיא ׳ג ןיארוקש םויב. Any day we call up three people to the Torah we must read at least ten psukim. Two of the three תוילע need to be a minimum of three psukim, and the one of the three, four. The ten psukim minimum corresponds to the תורבדה תרשע and the תורמאמ הרשע - the ten utterances Hashem used to create the world. The one exception to this rule is the האירק we listen to on Purim Morning. We lein the psukim of לארשיב םחליו קלמע אביוםידיפרב as found in חלשב תרשפ . With this האירק we call three people to the Torah, but only read nine psukim, three per aliyah. Why didn’t Chazal dictate that we add a tenth possuk? The הרורב הנשמ quotes the םייח תוחרוא who states: ףיסוהל ל״זח וצר אלו ינפמד זמרל הלעמלמ וא הטמלמ םיקוספ םהילע די יכ ביתכדכ רסח אסכהו םשה תויהל םרג קלמעשםירסח ויתוישרפ ויהי ךכ הק סכ לע. Chazal chose not to add any psukim to this האירק to allude to the fact that קלמע is the primary cause of Hashem’s name and throne’s incompleteness, and we therefore read the incomplete השרפ of קלמע on Purim. Tosfos in תוכרב and the רוט in ו״נ ןמיס quoting the opinion of Tosfos, state that when we say in Kaddish אבר הימש אהיךרבמ, the name הימש is referring to Hashem’s name of הק. We are davening that Hashem’s incomplete name of הק, should become, אבר great and whole. Thus on Purim, through the mitzvos we preform we are mispallel that Hashem’s full name be manifest throughout the world ץראה לכ לע ךלמל ׳ה היהו. A Freleichin Purim to all. I am looking forward to seeing your children in their beautiful costumes on Purim! Have a תבש טוג !
