I would like to tell you the true storyof my beautiful daughter, Maegen. This is Maegen. I often call her Mae for short. She isfunny and loves to make people laugh. Maegen has 6brothers and 3 sisters. Mae is number 5 out of 10 kids.She is smack in the middle and she is determined tostand out and shine. (And that is exactly what she does.)When Maegen was three days old we had to rush her tothe hospital. They said she needed surgery and thedoctors were not sure what would happen. We allprayed and we asked God to heal her and you knowwhat? HE did! We got a miracle that day and we were sovery thankful.If you are reading this booklet it is because Maegen’s life hasmoved someone to pack a HOPE box especially for you.

At five years old Maegen knew what she wanted. She came to meand said that she wanted Jesus to be her Savior. She asked me if Iwould pray with her. At five years old Maegen gave her heart toJesus. She didn't know everything but she was confident that shewanted to live her life for Him. When she was about 8 years old she loved to go to the grocery storewith me. Not because she liked the store but because she would handout little papers that would tell people how they could know Jesus astheir Savior too. Maegen would walk up to complete strangers in thestore and say "Jesus loves you can I give you this booklet?" Of courseeach person always said yes and took the booklet from her. I saw somany grumpy faces turn into smiles because my beautiful daughtertook the time to tell someone that Jesus loves them and wants arelationship with them.
I could fill many pages with funny stories of my precious girl She had a crazy love for animals Maegen loved horses but never had one of her own However she had her favorite kitty named Frisbee and a few bunnies over the years that stole her heart What Maegen would want me to tell you is that God is so good He loves you so much that God sent His One and Only Son to live and to die for your sins Sin is all the things we do that don t please God Since God is Holy and Just He can t look on sin but oh He wants a relationship with you He wants you to be His child Because of His GREAT LOVE He made a way There had to be a pure sinless sacrifice and His name is Jesus Jesus is real He walked this earth He lived as a man and faced many difficulties and Jesus chose to take our place and to die for our sins That is love He made it easy for us to have a relationship with God we just have to ask God to forgive us of our sins and believe in our heart that what God says is TRUTH Maegen did that at five years old She had her struggles and she would take them to God and He would meet her there He would guide her and help her That is the kind of God He is
Our Beautiful Maegen left this earth at the age of 16. Right now, as you read this Maegen is in Heaven completely aliveand enjoying things that are too wonderful for us to understand. She gave her life to Jesus at an early age and she continued tolearn about and seek Him. Now she gets to live with Him forever. Mae loved children and teens and she wanted them to know Jesus. She spent her last summer on earth serving at a camp that toldevery child about God and how He wants a relationship with them. Maegen wanted her life to matter for eternity. We miss her so much and we love her deeply. However, we are sothankful that Maegen chose to follow Jesus. We are thankful thatMaegen didn't do the easy thing and follow the crowd. Shesearched for Truth and she found it in the name of her Savior, JesusChrist. He is real and He is waiting for you.
When this picture was taken the photographer asked us all on thecount of three to look at the most dramatic person in the family. Asyou can see we all looked at our beautiful Mae. The family hasgrown a bit since this photo but this is us, her parents, and all of herbrothers and sisters and some of her nieces and nephews. Maegen's life is leaving a lasting effect because she loved herSavior and she knew that is where true hope is found. This world ishard and sometimes it seems hopeless but if you know the One TrueGod then you will always have Hope and your life can have purposeand joy.
How Do I Meet Jesus?We are so happy that you asked. We do not want to leave youwithout sharing how you can truly know Jesus as your Savior.
1st: Do you want to have a relationship with Jesus? Do youdesire to know Him? (if the answer is yes then keep on reading)2nd: Do you understand that you are a sinner? That you dothings that are wrong? We all do, and because of that we needsomeone to rescue us.Let me share with you what the Bible says: (The Bible is theWord of God)
God tells us we have ALL sinned and fall short of the Glory of God.(This is in Romans 3:23) This means we are all sinners, and we all dowrong things. Jesus is the only person to ever walk this earth andnot sin. He is perfect and without sin.God tells us that the payment for our sin is death (Romans 6:23)Because we sin we deserve eternal death.But God is so Good and He loves us so much that in the rest ofRomans 6:23 it says “The free gift of God is eternal life in JesusChrist our Lord.” Through Jesus we can have a relationship with Godand we can live forever in Heaven. Living forever in Heaven with Godand others that know Him is exciting and worth it. But God is evenbetter than that. If we put our genuine faith in Jesus to save us weget to have a relationship with God right now and right here. Wemust be broken over our sin and see our need for a Savior.If you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord AND BELIEVE IN YOURHEART that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. (Romans10:9) You can confess Jesus as your Lord but you must also believe and know in your heart that you need Him and then be ready to go where He leads.
