Basketball troubleChapter One 08ISSUE 01 June 2025 It all started when I was at basketball training. I was shooting hoops when my coach started shouting my nameso rapidly and loud that the next-door neighbours heard him! Hewent crazy! So crazy that I screamed aloud! I looked up to find him holding the dog I had given him yesterday. He immediately begun to apologies for scaring me, and said thathe loved the dog, so much that he named it Brakowski Junior afterhimself, Mr. Brakowski. I started laughing with all my might. Ilaughed so hard that I started to fall towards the ground. I startedfeeling weak from laughing.I’ve often been known as the clumsy girl at my school. SometimesI trip over my own feet. I know, I know, that's so embarrassing! Onetime, I was walking while trying to eat my sandwich that my mummade with my favourite topping, cheese and ham, and the nextminute I knew, I was on the floor with ham on my face! So gross! So disgusting! So embarrassing! Anyway, back to me laughing so hard at Coach Brakowski. Myteam rushed forward to catch me, as I begun to fall but they cametoo late. The last thing I remember was hitting the shiny floor ofthe gym. I hate it when the cleaner puts that wax on the floorswhen cleaning, I stand no chance at not falling over! When I woke, I could not remember anything. It wasn’t until thedoctor told me to look in the mirror that I was in absolute shock atwhat I was seeing......Tune into next month's issue for chapter 2.
