Extracurricular ActivitiesLOWER SCHOOLAt Woodward, students can explore virtually any interest through our wide array of clubs and activities, arts offerings, athletic teams, and service learn-ing opportunities. That means Lower School students can try new sports by signing up for free intramurals or take advantage of extracurricular activi-ties that include everything from Art Club to robotics.After school, students can join their classmates in extracurricular activities, discovering new skills while having fun. They will create animated movies, incorporating soundtracks and credits, which can be shared with family through their school Google Drive. They will explore concert dance styles, including classical and contem-porary ballet, modern (Horton and Mojah), jazz, tap, and hip-hop from the commercial dance world. Through workshops with actors from Broad-way, film, and commercials, students devel-op confidence and discipline while honing their performance skills, including singing in front of live audiences.
