Ryan Gros Head Coach Coach Gros is entering his second year at Lovejoy High School as the Head Baseball Coach He has coached high school baseball for 6 years at McKinney High School He spent his first 5 years as an assistant coach 2015 2020 coaching both football and baseball and took over as the Head Baseball Coach of the Lions for the 2021 Season Ryan has spent his summers coaching baseball for the Dallas Patriots and for D Bat Elite both of which he played for throughout high school Ryan is a 2010 graduate of Highland Park High School where he played baseball for 4 years and served as Senior Captain for the Scots under Fred Oliver in 2010 Following high school he continued his education and played baseball at Panola Junior College in Carthage TX for one year 2011 followed by three years at the University of Arkansas Fort Smith 2012 2014 He stayed on at UAFS as a Student Assistant Coach 2015 to finish up his education and graduated from UAFS in the spring of 2015 with a Bachelors of Math Education Coach Gros has been married to his wife Reagan for 5 years and has 3 daughters Remi 2 Addi 1 and newborn baby Gracie 4
Caleb Reynolds Assistant Coach Coach Reynolds is entering his sixth year in coaching and first year at Lovejoy High School He s coming from Dripping Springs High School where he served as the Freshman coach and most recently the First Varsity Assistant Coach Reynolds also coached Varsity Football He spent his first year in education as a teacher and coach at Chapa Middle School in Hay CISD Coach Reynolds is originally from West Monroe LA where he lettered 2 years in both football and baseball at West Monroe High School In baseball he was a two time All District Selection and a 1st Team All Northeast Louisiana selection as a junior After graduating from West Monroe Caleb went to Hill College on a baseball scholarship where he spent a year before finishing his Secondary Education degree at the University of Louisiana at Monroe Coach Reynolds has been married to his beautiful wife Katelyn for 5 years and they have a 2 year old son named Anders John Fee Assistant Coach Coach Fee is in his 4th year at Lovejoy High School He graduated from Austin College in Sherman Texas in 2019 He graduated with a bachelor s degree majoring in History and minoring in Education John started off his life in Bowie TX living with his grandparents He moved around until he found his home in Saginaw TX playing for the Rough Riders John and his wife Summer have been together for 11 years and live with their son John Wayne and three dogs in Princeton Matt Cannon Assistant Coach This will Be Matt s second year in Lovejoy ISD entering his 8th year in teaching coaching Matt is coming to Lovejoy from Richardson Berkner where he served as the Linebackers Coach Special Teams Coordinator and Head Softball Coach Coach Cannon attended Oklahoma State University where he obtained a degree in Secondary Education and a minor in Physics Matt is married to his wife Brooke they live in Princeton with their two dogs Mabel and Daisy Trevor Baxter Assistant Coach Coach Baxter is entering his first year coaching and teaching at Lovejoy High School He was previously a student teacher at McKinney High School Trevor went to L V Berkner High School where he lettered for 3 years in baseball and football After graduating high school he continued his education and baseball career at Richland Junior College for 2 years He then attended The University of Texas at Dallas and played baseball for 1 year He transferred to Texas A M Commerce where he completed his undergraduate degree in Biology with a concentration in Secondary Education 5
