2 The Gale Paulsen Spirit Award Inspiring others • advancing growth • empowering leaders Gale Paulsen was one of the original Marketing Managers at BAYADA and was a Regional Sales Trainer for many years before her retirement in 2020. Over her 18 years at BAYADA, Gale touched so many lives in our organization with her positivity, kindness, and leadership by example. This award was created in Gale’s honor after her passing in 2022. Anyone working within our sales team in the home health and hospice practices who embodies Gale’s “spirit” is eligible to be nominated. The recipient of this honor will epitomize the following criterion: – Currently in a Growth or Sales Leadership role (TCM, MM, ASD, RSD, RST, Trainers, and Support) working with the home health of hospice practices. – A steward of The BAYADA Way – A positivity in the approach to their work and willingness to help others – An ability to connect with others and create strong internal relationship across teams to create synergistic outcomes – A high level of work ethic and a track record of compassionately achieving results while demonstrating professionalism, trust, and mutual respect for colleagues. The winner of the Gale Paulsen Spirit Award will be announced each year at the Sales Team Luncheon during Awards Weekend.

5 LEA IS A STEWARD OF THE BAYADA WAY I would like to nominate Lea Rhodes for the Gale Paulsen Spirit Award because Lea has an amazing spirit. She is inspiring, and she integrates all of the components of The BAYADA Way. For example, Lea shows "Compassion" for others by listening closely, smiling, and she shows respect for others. Lea promotes "Excellence" by helping our team with our sales skills, education, resources, and training for our teams. This is important because this sets the foundation for "why BAYADA." You can always count on Lea, so she is "Reliable." She goes out of her way to gather resources, and she always makes sure that we are included in webinars. Lea is awesome and I appreciate her so much!! -Elizabeth Thompson Lea epitomizes The BAYADA Way. Everything she does is she does with compassion, a focus on excellence and is one of the most reliable people I have ever met. - Susan Ganiszewski Lea exudes the BAYADA Way every day, with her smiles, encouragement, kindness, and dedication. Her positivity is contagious. - Deb Seidel She was very positive and welcoming when I first joined the team. Took the time to guide me through things and very encouraging the first several days I was with her in person. She continues to display that positivity and encouragement as we continue to interact each time during my time here at BAYADA. - Roxanne Aimee Ducusin Lea is the BAYADA way, she truly lives our core values and is an example to others. - Colene Murray Lea always embodies Gale’s spirit of inspiring others, advancing growth, and empowering leaders. - Kimberly Anderson Lea has a clinical background, and she has carried The BAYADA Way into her current position, demonstrating and leading by example compassion, excellence, and reliability. During our JV transition of over 100 employees, team members were anxious, and scared of the unknown and big change. Lea was there, comforting team members, reassuring them, and cheering them on, she showed exceptional compassion when working through the transition. She showed excellence in her organized and fun training to her BD team, she understood their needs and provided direction. Lea showed reliability in always willing to be available even if it was remote.

6 Her team could always contact her when they had questions, and they did have a lot of questions. She was there for not just her BD team but all 100 team members that were making the transition. Lea was a trusted member of the transition team. - Lisa Kidd I cannot think of any one person that is more of a steward of the BAYADA Way. Lea is one of the most compassionate people both in and out of work setting that I have met. She has the biggest heart and truly cares about her people, not letting that get in the way of accountability to their work. Lea gets the job done with a high level of quality, consistency, and is someone that can be relied upon without a shadow of a doubt. She never cast stones, jumps in to help right situations that have gone sideways, and doesn't seek credit. It's no surprise that Lea and Gale were such great friends. - Voula Siderakis Lea Rhodes walks the walk every day, while she is at work and when she is in the community. Lea jumps at every opportunity to share her love for Bayada and exudes the Bayada Way in her every action as she greats others with a smile and big hug, always treats others with love, kindness, and respect, she works hard every day, and looks for innovative ways to meet the needs of others, no matter what they may be. Lea empowers others and leads with a sense of universal faith and love. - Elizabeth Crawford Leah takes her time to ensure she really hears the needs of the people she is working with - She is compassionate and is able customize the training to meet the needs. She cares about people first! - Amber DeBonza Lea embodies The BAYADA Way in so many ways. She is someone who really lets her smile be seen and felt. She is always my first call when I need a pep talk or a confidante. I can always count on Lea to be straight with me and to revitalize my positivity. - Rebekah Gray Lea is sensitive to the opinions and feelings of her coworkers and teams. She listens and is attentive when interacting with others, making you feel like what you have to say is important to her. Her communication skills make you feel like she genuinely cares about other people. She treats everyone the way they expect to be treated - Erin Timson Lea is compassionate and lead by her heart with every interaction...her smile can be seen and heard. - Allie Ramsey Lea is the gold standard for being a steward of The BAYADA Way. On any day I can count on Lea to let her smile be seen and felt. I have seen her support her team and other teams in everything that she does. - Julie Brioche

Her smile is always felt, and she works with spirit of universal faith, hope and love. - Jeff Pickering LEA DEMONSTRATES POSITIVITY IN THE APPROACH TO HER WORK AND WILLINGNESS TO HELP OTHERS Lea is always up for both the hard and fun aspects of the job - company first with a smile - Jeff Pickering Lea always strives to find the positive in any situation no matter how difficult. If she is leading a meeting or working with an employee who is having difficulty, she consistently uses a positive approach that is felt by everyone around her. - Chris Runyon Lea has so much positive energy, she is funny, very intelligent, and she is so encouraging. For example, during our Sales Boot Camp she did role playing for our class and this really exemplified how much she wants to help others grow in the sales profession. I noticed that she went out of her way to make sure that everyone felt welcome at the Sales Boot Camp. - Elizabeth Thompson Lea always has a smile on her face. (Let your smile be seen and felt). She will always approach a situation with a positive attitude. She inspires others to be the best they can be. - Susan Ganiszewski She does what she says she will do. It could be a 1:1, ride along, calling someone back, she consistently demonstrates treating others with kindness and respect. - Deb Seidel She helps me look at challenges as opportunities and always encourages me to reach out to her in any method whether it be via phone call, text, or email. 8 Lea has a "can do" attitude and is always looks for ways to get things done no matter what the challenge is. - Colene Murray Lea always is positive, and approaches work to do what's best for our employees. I always get wonderful feedback from her trainings, ride-a-longs, and anything she is in our market. - Kimberly Anderson Positivity should be Lea's middle name, there is no one that has ever met Lea that does not see positivity beaming from her. She has an aura of positivity that surrounds her. She is always energized and positive regardless of the situation. Lea's presents can change the mood of the whole room or zoom meeting. She is a pleasure to always have present. As stated earlier, she is always willing to help others, when she pops into a zoom or room, you know it is going to be fun. - Lisa Kidd I have never seen Lea not smile, whatever the circumstance. She assumes positive intent in people, approaches challenging situations with positivity and a can-do attitude. She is the first to say, "how can I help"? - Voula Siderakis Lea approaches every task with a smile and a "can do" attitude. There is nothing that Lea Rhodes won't attempt to do for you! - Elizabeth Crawford Leah goes above and beyond to work extra, different hours to accommodate everyone's needs - She is always upbeat and encouraging others. She is a champion and a cheerleader and always has a smile on her face. Much like Gale, Leah is loved by all and seen as collaborative and team oriented. - Amber DeBonza Lea IS positivity. Even when she literally has no time, is more booked than anyone else, she will find a way to help. I cannot emphasize enough how much Lea should be the first recipient of this award. - Rebekah Gray Lea has a great sense of humor and a bright smile. She always tells jokes and has the ability to laugh at herself. Her positive attitude and optimistic outlook also lifts up others when they’re feeling down or discouraged. She is just cheerful and has a genuine personality. - Erin Timson Lea always brings the "fun" in everything she does...even when we were stuck at the airport late night leaving a market. We've met after hours to prepare for a launch in market. She covers a very large geography which requires a road warrior mentality. - Allie Ramsey Anyone who knows Lea knows that she is exudes positivity in everything that she does. As a colleague she has filled in for me when I needed help, and as a trainer she is willing to work and help all of the people she works with. - Julie Brioche Even on phone calls you can just hear the smile on her face. - Katrina Martinelli

9 LEA CONNECTS WITH OTHERS AND CREATES STRONG INTERNAL RELATIONSHIPS ACROSS TEAMS Lea is genuine and everyone around her feels that. So much so that when this award was announced, everyone who works in our division independently started communicating with each other that Lea was the perfect candidate for this award. I think that speaks volumes for the type of relationships that Lea builds with people. -Chris Runyon I was so impressed with Lea during our Sales Boot Camp, during our JV Sales orientation, and on-going sales training. Lea always goes out of her way to connect with others and help them feel valued. When I have questions about the on-boarding process, how to integrate with Bayada, or general questions, Lea always makes time to connect with me. - Elizabeth Thompson Lea doesn't know any strangers. They are just friends she hasn't met yet. She remembers everyone she has worked with and makes everyone feel special. - Susan Ganiszewski Her energy and smile. She brings "fun" to work but also has high expectations. - Deb Seidel I noticed that she takes the time to get to know people personally and professionally. She’s very welcoming and takes the time to connect people with each other. - Roxanne Aimee Ducusin Through her positivity, her humor, and the genuine way of caring she has towards others. -Colene Murray Lea has always made each person she interacts with feel very special. She continues to follow up with new employees even when she is not asked to and builds a wonderful, trusting relationship with them. -Kimberly Anderson Lea is always available; she makes a point to meet new people and bring in new team members. She has never met a stranger and once you meet Lea, you don't forget her, she builds relationships with everyone and continues that relationship forward. Lea is a trainer however her best method is through example and always connecting with

I wish she could be present more in our area. - Lisa Kidd Lea is a natural people person. She loves people and people love her due to her compassion, reliability, warmth, and realness. People are drawn to her, trust her, and I have seen her be used as sounding board or resource on many occasions. - Voula Siderakis Lea has a way of putting others at ease, providing education in a way that easy to understand and constructive feedback in loving and caring way that empowers others. -Elizabeth Crawford She works well with everyone - she's helped us in SRL with onboarding and has made fast friends with all the PM's/ SRL leadership/ DSL's etc. - She's done a wonderful job connecting all the dots and ensuring good communication. -Amber DeBonza I have connected with Lea since the first time I met her, and I think most people have a similar sentiment. -Rebekah Gray Lea makes all who meet her feel welcomed and appreciated. She listens and respects what people say and supports her co-workers when they need it. She is also completely trustworthy. This makes it easy for people to call on her for help and to develop close friendships with her. She is a kind and genuine person that makes it easy to develop a relationship with. -Erin Timson As a Regional Sales Trainer, Lea engages all new employees to her Region to give them a great start to the Practice. -Jeff Pickering The team just feels the love and support. -Allie Ramsey Lea has a natural ability to connect with others and create strong relationships. There is never a time that I'm with her that she's not getting a text/call/email from someone she knows reaching out to Lea about something. Lea was primarily attached to Magnolia until last year when she took on Bonsai. Mag experienced record growth even as the largest HH Region and Lea always kept the team spirit and professionalism at a high level. -Jeff Pickering Lea was one of the most welcoming people I met when I joined BAYADA. She has a genuine demeanor that helps her connect with people quickly. Once that connection is established, you know you have someone who will work with you and help you reach your potential. The business development team members in Magnolia are consistently high performing and all of them have a common denominator in their connection with Lea. -Chris Runyon Lea exhibits a high level of work ethic by explaining and demonstrating the expectations of Bayada so that we can all shine and exemplify the "Bayada Way." She has such a compassionate heart for others, by making sure that everyone feels included. Lea is very trustworthy... she listens and provides strategies for success. She speaks highly of other colleagues and always verbalizes the best in others. Lea is very consistent, and you can always count on her. -Elizabeth Thompson The best example I can give as a response to this question was during the pandemic. Lea was a rock for so many people during this uncertain time. She was a sounding board as well as a shoulder to cry on. She was a safe haven during the storm. -Susan Ganiszewski Lea has perfected the art of giving and receiving feedback, she is upfront with colleagues and holds herself and others to the highest level. -Deb Seidel She keeps her word. When she says she will do something, she follows through. -Roxanne Aimee Ducusin For example, during COVID Lea onboarded two employees for me remotely - this is not ideal, nor is it easy, but Lea was nothing but positive and engaging and I had such positive feedback from both employees. She didn't miss a beat and they had a great onboarding experience despite the distance and being on zoom. And they would

12 often reach back out to her as a trusted resource when they had questions even after they were on-boarded. -Colene Murray Lea always goes above and beyond to ensure whatever she is tasked with she accomplishes. She always puts employee’s betterment prior to herself. She has been such a positive asset having her in OCO Division. -Kimberly Anderson Lea is part of the BD team, however she is loved, respected, and trusted just as much by the operations team. We love having her on our calls, she is always professional, ethical and keeps the BD and Operations team working as a team. Her high energy, positive communication, and her motivation to meet common goals is appreciated by all. I have never met anyone that demonstrates the Bayada Way as Lea does. I never met Gale however I think she would be proud to have Lea win this award. -Lisa Kidd For lack of a better phrase, Lea is your "ride or die" type of person. She is the person you can count on to have your back and have to encourage her to slow down.... not attend meetings that fall after hours for her, to push back on too many requests, and to just take a break for herself. She is always professional, well respected by her colleagues and people she supports. It would be a fight if ever suggested that Lea be pulled from the Bonsai team. She is very much valued, appreciated, and loved. -Voula Siderakis Lea is known in every office within the Lantana Division as outgoing, positive, trustworthy, and always professional. I can't think of anyone more deserving of this award. -Elizabeth Crawford Lea never misses a beat - She's organized and on top all of all her communication - Her processes remind me so much of Gale who always wanted to make sure the new MMs/ TCNs were set up for success. She took her time to line up all the correct steps. Leah does the same - the success of others gives her such joy. She's firm with what needs to get done but her approach is one of heart and compassion with the person's success as her guide for making decisions. -Amber DeBonza I literally do not know how Lea even works as much as she does. Every time I see her, I am encouraging her to slow down a little and make sure she relaxes enough! -Rebekah GrayLea is always striving for excellence in all that she does. She is dependable and takes personal accountability. You can count on her to "go the extra mile” -if she sees someone struggling, she will offer help but doesn't take over.
