https://www.growthegamebaseball.org A LETTER FROM THE OWNERS When we started our first tournament four years ago, we wanted to bring together families and friends to enjoy America’s favorite pastime. Since that first tournament, we have consistently sold out all our tournaments, grown the game of baseball, and donated over $21,000 to fight cancer. We are excited to announce a new project that will greatly benefit our community: the construction of a state-of-the-art, all turf sports complex in Troy, located at Donald J. Flynn Park. This complex will provide a safe and inspiring environment for athletes of all ages to develop their skills, foster teamwork, and build lifelong friendships. It will also be accessible to everyone in our community. This is why we are asking for the community’s help. Every donation, no matter the size, brings us one step closer to achieving our goal. Together, we can create a lasting legacy for our community, make a difference in the lives of our young athletes, and help inspire and nurture our future generations of baseball players. Warm regards, Mike Morris Co-founder/CEO Patrick Koneval Co-founder/President 2 League Sports Foundation

https://www.growthegamebaseball.org A GEM IN OUR OWN BACKYARD • Sports Tourism is a common term now, but it was largely unheard of until around 12 years ago, and one of the fastest growing sectors in tourism according to the United World Tourism Agency. • According to the Sports Events and Tourism Association (SETA), sports tourism generated over $90 billion dollars in economic impact across the U.S. in 2021. Sports tourism provides communities big and small millions of dollars in economic impact each year. • Troy will claim a share of this market by welcoming teams to tournaments from all over the country and Canada. • Sports tourism is projected to grow by 12% each year through 2027. • Our complex is expected to boost the Troy economy by more than $7 million in the first five years of existence. • We anticipate at least 100,000 athletes, coaches, visitors, and scouts to regularly visit our complex in the first year. https://www.growthegamebaseball.org SUPPORTING OUR COMMUNITY On any given weekend, thousands of young athletes across the nation utilize their talents in baseball, football, soccer, tennis, volleyball and lacrosse. Most of these events occur in complexes developed explicitly for amateur sports. The economic impact on local communities can be divided into three categories: direct, indirect, and induced. Direct impact includes local spending at hotels, restaurants, attractions, retailers, transportation costs and entry fees. Indirect impact is defined as purchasing goods and services and the impact on the supply chain. Induced impact encompasses employee spending—either directly or indirectly associated with sports tourism. A sports complex benefits not only athletes and sports enthusiasts, but also the entire society – it answers the needs of the community, helps people socialize, has a positive impact on the development of sports in the region, and boosts the local economy. 6 League Sports Foundation
