LAST WALK (58 Hours) Oil on Canvas 40x30 Fifty eight hours after a photograph taken by Robyn Llull on the New River Trail at Shot Tower State Park in Max Meadows VA, October 14, 2014, my wife Susan unexpect-edly passed from this reality to the next. It took one year after her passing before I could start this painting of that photograph, the rst after a forty year painting hiatus. The painting is a visual metaphor about the bridge be-tween life and death, the wonder about what lies ahead for all of us, some subtle clues we see and the ones we hope to see and how our beliefs inuence those perspectives.
LAT WALK (58 Hours) Hybrid Digital Print This print came about by me tinkering with image ad-justments using software and loved the outcome espe-cially the sky.
