THE BISHOP S SCHOOL I am very excited about the 2017 18 basketball season I am so proud of all the work that our student athletes and coaches have put into the success of this team As the Director of Athletics I define success in three different ways First a successful program teaches life lessons that apply both on and off the court It has coaches who create a safe environment for kids to fail struggle and succeed Second successful teams value team success over personal success Sometimes what is best for the team doesn t translate to immediate accolades for individual players Third successful teams compete They battle at their highest level regardless of the score Even in a loss teams that compete can hold their heads high I am confident that coach Levine and his entire staff are dedicated to instilling these values in each one of our student athletes Thank you to the administration faculty and parents Collectively we hold our kids accountable for each of these values in all areas of the school I look forward to cheering on our Knights throughout the season and seeing all of our community at the games Thank you and GO KNIGHTS Joel Allen Director of Athletics 2
