We look forward to another great basketball season at Eva May Fleet Center led by senior captains Luke Ball and Tyler Hagan We have a strong senior class including Luke Seltzer Ray Thornton Shea Rueda Jake Molinar and Ryan Arrowsmith that will help lead the charge this year for the Knights Nick Levine enters his 9th season as the head coach of the Bishop s basketball program as Dan Clark and Brian Carroll round out the varsity coaching staff again this season We are excited to welcome Owen Hill 21 and Sahil Sheth 16 back to campus to coach our JV and novice programs Under Coach Levine s leadership our basketball program is student centered creating a family atmosphere aligning with the school s core values With our strength and conditioning coach our student athletes work tirelessly training off and on the court while maintaining a rigorous academic schedule The 22 23 season is going to be especially exciting because the Coastal Conference is hosting its inaugural Conference Championship Tournament at the end of regular season play For the first time ever the Coastal Conference Tournament Champion will be crowned the League Champion earning the automatic Conference bid to the San Diego Section CIF tournament We want to thank our coaching staff our parents guardians and our studentathletes for their dedication to the program both in and out of season The sights and sounds of a new basketball season surround us and we are thrilled to get this season underway Go Knights Paula Conway Director of Athletics 2

PLAY HARD PLAY SMART PLAY TOGETHER HAVE FUN Nick Levine Head Coach We are excited to kick off another year of Bishop s basketball As we approach this season we are especially grateful for the opportunities that lie in front of us We are hoping to create shared experiences both on and off the court and grow as individuals as well as a collective group I know that our staff will always put the well being of our players at the forefront of everything we do We will work on creating an atmosphere that is positive so we can play and coach with joy My coaching philosophy is to motivate the player so we can motivate the team I strive to build a relationship with all of our players where they feel cared for and there is open communication and trust between us We have a challenging schedule and we feel lucky to be a part of the inevitable highs and lows of a long season I want to thank everyone who plays a part in our program including our administration parents coaches and most importantly players We will always work hard to put a product out on the court where our community is proud of our effort and our togetherness Nick Levine Nick Levine 4
