Eligibility GuidelineWho Can You Cover?You can cover your spouse and legal dependents if they are:• Dependent Child: under the age of 26. They will lose coverage at the end of the month of their 26thbirthday. This does not apply to legally disabled children.• Spouse: Legal SpousesWhen Can You MakeChangesto Your Benefits?If you experience a qualifying life event that results in the gain or loss of insurance for yourself and/or your dependents, you must report it to HR within 30 days of the event.• Marriage or Divorce• Birth or Adoption• Death of spouse or child• Gain or loss of other coverage• Dependent child reaches age 26• Court judgement or decreeAre You Eligible?• Full-Time Employees: hired to work 30+ hours per week• Part-Time Employees: After 12 months if you average more than 130 hours per month, you become eligible for full-time benefits.Your benefits will begin on the 1st of the month following 30 days of full-time eligibility.Open Enrollment will occur every July/August.
