There was adeep need; children were dropping out of schooldue to poverty, illness, or lack of guidance. Teenpregnancies and poor performance were far toocommon.The School Sisters of Notre Dame responded —not with charity alone, but with a commitment totransformative, quality education rooted in dignityand hope.Humble Beginnings.Bold Vision.“In January 2024, BTGEC opened withjust 5 learners. Today, 54 children fromNyalieng’a and nearby villages thrive inour ECDE program, rooted in the SchoolSisters of Notre Dame’s vision oftransformative education. FollowingKenya’s Competency-Based Curriculum,we nurture creativity, confidence, andreal-life skills.
