infrastructureThe site is equipped with all the latest in modern-day infrastructure. Each plot is connected to an underground electricity system powered by three distribution substations for each zone, each with its own full back up generator for the whole development so that residents can enjoy uninterrupted supply in less than a minute of Samui’s Provincial Electricity Authority mains power going out. Leased fiber optic lines provide high-speed internet capabilities. Clean water is provided to the site by way of several deep wells, irrigation ponds, and water tanks that hold a total storage capacity of 440 m3. Water delivered to each villa passes through oxidation tanks complete with sand, carbon, and resin filters. Top-notch and drainage systems ensure that water is properly and efficiently drained, allowing residents to remain at ease during Thailand’s rainiest periods. The roads of KAYA have been constructed to meet European standards, allowing for easy access and safe transportation throughout the site.

rammed earthRammed earth is the technique of layering pressed dirt into a form. It has been used in construction for thousands of years and is available as an optional material for your customized villa. Rammed earth has many benefits including a low carbon footprint, excellent insulation and flexibility. It makes for a unique feature wall allowing for a variety of color tones and textures. The shape of the wall can be curved or straight according to any design which allows the architects to bend the villa around the terrain, integrating the home with nature and its surroundings.
