Hello! Thanks for stopping by. I always like getting to know more about myclients, so here’s a bit more about me. I’ve been a photographer for twelveyears now. I started learning the ins and outs of photography while workingas a teacher and librarian. Photography started as a hobby, but it quicklybecame something I wanted to dedicate more of my time and talent to. Iremained in education for many years, but am now fully dedicated tophotography. Outside of work I love being active and spending time with my family. I havetwo kids and two dogs. My other passions include outdoor adventures and allthings music. I am a runner and triathlete with two 70.3s under my belt andcountless 5Ks, 10Ks, and half marathons. I’m a music fiend, concert junkie,and band merch lover. I got a guitar last year for my birthday and have lovedlearning and connecting with some of my favorite music in new ways. Theseare important parts of my life that I wanted to incorporate into my ownphotos. Seniors are honestly one of my absolute favorite things. I love getting to seeeven my most shy seniors come out of their shells and have fun at oursessions. SchedulingSenior portraits can be done at any point in the school year. Keep in mindthat yearbooks often require photos for ads and dedications early on. Ifyou need your portraits back before then, be sure to schedule early.Cancellations and reschedules must be made via email or phone at least 48hours prior to your session. All retainers are non-refundable.PaymentA 25% non-refundable retainer is required in order to secure your date.The remaining balance is due four days prior to your session.WardrobePatterns, bold colors, layers, and accessories photograph really well. Aboveeverything you should wear something that makes you feel comfortable &confident. Don’t hesitate to ask for outfit recommendations. I love gettingto help with outfit inspiration. I can also bring a pop-up changing tent tomake things easier.After Your SessionSneak peeks are typically posted on my socials as I work on your session.Your full gallery will be sent via an online link within three weeks (usuallymuch sooner). F R E Q U E N T L Y A S K E DQ U E S T I O N SQ: WHAT SETS YOU APART FROM OTHER PHOTOGRAPHERS?A: With years of experience under my belt, I know how to pose and guide clients to make themfeel relaxed while looking their very best. I use natural lighting as often as possible and makesure your portraits session is relaxed & fun. I can also bring lights for a more dramatic look.I'll help you to feel confident in front of the camera. I’m here to make these as fun as possible. Q: HOW DO WE SELECT A LOCATION?A: Start by looking through the samples here. If there's a photo or location that matches youraesthetic, we can start there or I can suggest other locations with a similar feel. Not seeingwhat you want? We can chat about your style and vision and go from there. Q: DO I HAVE TO ORDER PRINTS THROUGH YOU?A: I highly recommend ordering professional prints directly through your gallery link, but itisn't required. The difference in quality is huge when it comes to ordering through aprofessional lab though, so I always love to help with prints, even if it’s just a few. Q: HOW DO WE RESERVE OUR SESSION?A: Take a look at the calendar on my website. Find a date that works for you, pay the 25%retainer, sign the agreement, and you're all set! You can always reach out about otherpotential dates, but keep in mind that late spring and fall are the busiest times of the year. Q: WILL YOU PHOTOSHOP MY IMAGES?A: I do fully edit all photos for accurate colors, skin tones, etc. I will automatically take outblemishes, but will keep you as natural as possible. I believe our imperfections are what makeus beautiful & unique.
