Hello! Thanks for stopping by. I’ve been a photographer for twelve years now. I startedlearning the ins and outs of photography while working as a teacher and librarian.Photography started as a hobby, but it quickly became something I wanted todedicate more of my time and talent to. I remained in education for many years, butam now fully dedicated to photography. Outside of work I love being active and spending time with my family. I have two kidsand two dogs. My other passions include outdoor adventures and all things music. I’ma music fiend, concert junkie, and band merch lover. I got a guitar last year for mybirthday and have loved learning and connecting with some of my favorite music innew ways. I am also a runner and triathlete with two 70.3s under my belt andcountless 5Ks, 10Ks, and half marathons. When I say I’m up for an adventure, I meanit! PlanningWe can meet in person, email, or schedule calls to build out the perfect day-oftimeline for you. You can share this with other vendors or I can build based off ofwhat you already have. I will also provide a family photo list that we willcustomize to fit your needs. I also have a couples location guide to help withengagement and bridal location inspiration. PaymentA 25% non-refundable retainer is required in order to secure your date. Theremaining balance is due four days prior to your wedding date. All retainers arenon-refundable.SchedulingEngagements and bridals can be scheduled at any time. Typically bridals arescheduled a few weeks prior to the wedding. This way your dress is back fromalterations, you can utilize your hair and makeup trial, and you can get thosebridals back in time for the wedding day. WardrobeFor your engagement session, wear something that makes you feel comfortable &confident! Patterns, bold colors, and accessories photograph really well. Considerthe location selected as well. C O M M O N Q U E S T I O N SQ: What sets you apart from other photographers?A: With years of experience under my belt, I know how to pose and guideclients to make them feel relaxed while looking their very best. I usenatural lighting as often as possible and make sure the portraits sessionsare intimate & fun. At the same time, I’m not afraid to pull out my lights andmodifiers when it’s dark or time to hit the dance floor. I also help build outa photography timeline to maximize our time together. We can also meet,text, or call as often as needed to make sure everything runs smoothly onyour big day.Q: What equipment do you use?A: I use all of the latest Canon equipment. I always carry my mirrorless R6with duals card slots, a backup camera, and various lenses and flashes forthroughout the day.Q: Will my photos be posted publicly on your site or social media?A: I’d love to show off you & your images if you’re game. If not, that's okay,too. I respect your privacy and allow each client to decide whether or notthey want their photos displayed publicly.Q: How long will it take to receive my photos?A: My contract states within 8 weeks, but generally it will be much, muchsooner than that. I try to post a sneak peek or two on my socials within thefirst week so you have professional photos you can share right away.Engagements and bridals will be returned within 2-3 weeks of yoursession.Q: How do we reserve our date?A: Fill out an inquiry on my website to get started. Once I approve it, youjust pay the 25% retainer, sign the agreement, and you're all set!

C O M M O N Q U E S T I O N SQ: How do I select a location for my engagements or bridals?A: Take a look through some of the samples in this guide, my couples locationguide, and on my website. If there's a photo or location that matches youraesthetic, we can start there or I can suggest other locations with a similar feel.Not seeing what you want? We can chat about your style and vision and gofrom there. Q: Do I have to order prints through you?A: I highly recommend ordering professional prints and keepsakes directlythrough your gallery link, but it is never required. The difference in quality ishuge when it comes to ordering through a professional lab, so I always love tohelp with prints!Q: Do you travel for destination weddings?A: Absolutely! I love to travel. If you’re having a destination wedding orelopement, we should definitely chat. Prices are similar to my regular packagesplus the cost of travel. Some bucket list locations will even be discounted!Q; How do you deal with wedding day disasters?A: I carry multiples of just about everything (cameras, cards, batteries, flashes,etc.). I do have a list of competent photographers to reach out to as backups incase of extreme emergency. Luckily, I have never had to do this. I do my best toplan for everything. For a wedding day snafu, we just adjust and pivot asneeded. Q: Do you Photoshop my images to hide any unwanted spots, wrinkles, etc?A: I fully edit all photos for colors, skin tones, etc. These edits will be made to allof your images, but I believe our imperfections are what make us beautiful &unique. If there are specific additional edits you want, these will be chargedaccording to the number and complexity of edits.
