The organization warmly embraced our donation of these supplies. Macomb Foster Closet plays a vital role in ensuring that children in foster care receive crucial items, including clothing and school necessities, free of charge. Frequently, children enter the foster care system with only the clothes they are wearing, and Macomb Foster Closet actively addresses this issue by equipping them with the essentials they require.

MICHIGAN FALL COLOR SEASONAccording to the Farmer’s Almanac, it seems like Michigan’s Fall Color Season might commence a bit earlier than usual this year. The Farmer’s Almanac’s warm weather forecasts not only anticipate an early onset of the colorful season but also suggest that Michigan’s leaves will display a more vibrant and diverse palette.Autumn in Michigan is a breathtaking spectacle as the foliage undergoes a striking transformation. This time of year is ideal for embarking on a road trip, taking a leisurely scenic drive, or planning a memorable day trip.Wondering what triggers this remarkable color-changing process? As summer gradually gives way to fall, the daylight hours shorten, resulting in reduced sunlight. This acts as a signal for the leaves to prepare for the impending winter and cease the production of chlorophyll, the green pigment. Consequently, the vibrant reds, oranges, and yellows that were always present but overshadowed by the dominant green chlorophyll start to emerge. To make the most of this splendid natural phenomenon, stay tuned to Michigan’s weather reports, helping you pinpoint the perfect moments to witness Michigan’s awe-inspiring autumn foliage.

Here is how it works…When you make a call with SOS, your iPhone automatically calls the local emergency number and shares your location information with emergency services. When SOS appears in your iPhone status bar, it means a cellular network is available for emergency calls. You can also add emergency contacts. After an emergency call ends, your iPhone alerts your emergency contacts with a text message. Your iPhone sends your current location, and for a period of time after you enter SOS mode, your emergency contacts receive updates when your location changes. Calling Emergency Services on iPhone 8 or later:1. Press and hold the side button and one of the volume buttons until the Emergency SOS slider appears.2. Drag the Emergency Call slider to call emergency services. If you continue to hold down the side button and volume button, instead of dragging the slider, a countdown begins and an alert sounds. If you release the buttons after the countdown, your iPhone automatically calls emergency services.Everye have safe Halloween and Thanksgiving holidays!
