June 11 2021 WE WILL MISS YOU Dear Parents What a school year it was I begin this bulletin with a heart full of gratitude to the for giving us all the strength and fortitude to overcome all the challenges we faced this year Thank you to our Administration Rabbeim Moros and teachers for rising to the occasion each day and meeting the challenge Thank you to the parents and students for collaborating with us and for your resilience that went above and beyond Mazel Tov to our Eighth Grade classes on your graduation May you go and bring true Yiddishe nachas to us your families and May you all continue to be A to our dear Rabbi Frohlich and the entire Frohlich family You will be sorely missed Much Hatzlocha on your new endeavor Rabbi Marcus and family thank you for your years of dedication towards our young talmidim Hatzlocha on your move to To Mrs Gould and the entire Gould Family For the last thirty two years you have given so much to our talmidos and our community and it is hard to envision the Torah Academy without you Continued Hatzlocha with your move to Lakewood and all your future endeavors To all the families leaving Boston Continued and with much Yiddish Nachas from your dear children 8 03 PM Sun June 13 8G graduation 4 30 PM 8B graduation 6 30 PM Wed June 16 last day of school for PreK and K noon dismissal no daycare Thurs June 17 last day of school noon dismissal Tues August 31 first day of school grades 1 8B G Wishing everyone an enjoyable and restful summer Recharge those batteries and we look forward to greeting you all on August 31 the first day of school Rabbi Ochs On Monday night we had a wonderful showing at the goodbye for Rabbi and Mrs Frohlich and Rabbi Marcus These special educators will be missed Everyone wished then a heartfelt thanks and hatzlacha in their future endeavors This week Kindergarten 2 celebrated receiving their first siddur with a beautiful production Rabbi Ochs presented the siddur to each student Thank you to their moros Mrs Sebbag Miss Yudkowsky Mrs Gluckin and Mrs Bercuson The girls in 3G performed the annual Shmoneh Esrei Play The sound of their voices melodically filled the auditorium Thank you Mrs Posy for this creative presentation Due to the school closing for Corona last year the girls in 4G missed out on the performing the Shmoneh Esrei play This week they prepared an abbreviated version of the play which was emailed to the parents Thank you Mrs Sternfield and Mrs Posy Of course a big yosher koach goes to Morah Leah Nussbaum for all the preparation and rearranging her schedule to be able to fit in extra practices for all the performances in the Hamilton building We thank her also for making arrangements to get the piano fixed We thank Mr Yitzchak Sadetsky for the piano repairs

YEAR IN REVIEW The year in review from many of our teachers The kinderlach in PreK have learned all of the Aleph Beis celebrating with a beautiful Siyum and performance The kinderlach now know all of the heilige osiyos which they will use in the future to learn Torah Daven and say Tehillim K1 Over the course of this year K1 has learned to blend letters and vowels and we are now reading short cvc books K2 Our class has really done excellent learning all their nekudos and now had their siddur play They are so excited to start using them 1B would like to thank Hashem for a successful 2020 2021 year pleasure to teach and watch all the boys grow in so many areas The boys in 4b have completed two mesechtas of mishnayos this year Rosh Hashanah and Taanis They have learned how to break down a mishna into its different components and have started to develop their reasoning skills They are all ready and very excited to learn Gemara next year In Chumash 4G is nearing the end of Parshas Bo and is excited to learn about the end of Galus Mitzrayim which they have been eagerly anticipating since learning about the beginning in Parshiyos Mikeitz and Vayigash They are also looking forward to their Siyum on Sefer Yehoshua at the park next week as well as completing a cycle of learning Sefer Chofetz Chaim with the Shomrei Halashon program This year 5B learned over 45 000 words of Gemara and Mishnayos They will be celebrating next week with a class trip and pizza party The fifth grade girls read and analyzed almost 200 books as a class For 1G Kodesh it has been a wonderful and productive year We have been able to finish our kriah book and have started the next level We are improving our reading skills The girls are learning Chumash beautifully and are able to translate pesukim on their own They have also mastered shorashim prefixes and suffixes and have acquired a vast vocabulary in Hebrew 1G has accomplished so much this year We just celebrated finishing our phonics book that we ve been working on since the very beginning We re having a great time with our hands on activities while learning time money and regrouping In 2B we recently were mesayem our 3rd parsha Parshas Vaera totaling an amount of 17 perakim and 426 pesukim The boys are SO eager to learn Torah and do the Mitzvos of Hashem The boys grew so much in emunah and bitachon listening to A life with Bitachon daily we can see the results of menuchas hanefesh in all boys Baruch Hashem the boys have derech eretz They come on time and do their homework I am so proud of how much effort the boys put in I get a lot of nachas watching them grow in all areas and I wish them continued Hatzlacha 2G used cereal to learn about division The girls also went on a class trip to Newton Center Park to celebrate finishing their class marble jar 3B Wow I can t believe we are at the last bulletin of the year We accomplished so much In Chumash we completed all 6 parshios in Sefer Bereishis and Mishnayos Sukah It was a 6B has shteiged tremendously becoming experts in the foundations of Nezikin having learned Perek Hakoines and beginning of Hachoivel In addition we got a glimpse on most Karbanos having learned Parshiyos Vayikra and Tzav We covered a lot of Hilchos Tefilla and Shmiras Halashon and we re on track to finish Shmuel Aleph Beh BH we had a great Geshmake year 6G girls focused on learning Parshas Shlach in depth Each week we studied the one of Lamed Tes melachos The learning included creating pages for a scrapbook to help the girls remember the material 7B finished 2nd perek of Bava Kama finished Sefer Shmuel Beis completed parshios from Bamidbar through Balak and studied Hilchos Tefilin Girls in grades 1 8 finished off the year long Eye care program by putting on their Ayin Tova glasses glow glasses to use all of the different Middos discussed this year Hakaras Hatov looking for Hashgochas Hashem and Dan L Chaf Zechus to look for the good in scenarios that at first glance are going wrong They earned their final charm a pair of glasses to add to their Eye Care keychains Thank you so much to Mrs Sternfield for creating this program You have gone above and beyond
