In the valley, everyone is trying to escape the heat. For our family, vacation has mostly been visitingthe national parks. Our country has so much natural beauty that is preserved by the government -Bureau of Management and we all should take advantage of these great natural treasures we havewhich are very easily accessible.Our trend of national parks vacationing started during Covid times where everything was at a standstilland there was basically nothing available to do. We had to change our plans and do a National ParksRoad trip vacation where we drove all the way up to Glacier National Park and visited 7 other parksand national monuments on our 3000 miles road trip over the span of 14 days. Since then, we havevisited 20 + national parks with the most recent ones in the Canadian Rockies at the end of May.Nature is the best healer and provides so much peace and tranquility that you need in this fast pacedworld we live in. You feel so refreshed, rejuvenated and re-energized after these trips.We can utilize the benefits we earn in PTO accrual by exploring our natural wonders and rejuvenatingourselves.I am leaving you with a quote from Theodore Roosevelt - our president who most admired these andvisited many of them himself."It is not what we have that will make us a great nation; it is the way in which we use it."From the Desk of..... Bacon Wrapped Shrimp AppetizersLine baking sheet with foil and place a cookie cooling rack on top.Wrap shrimp with 1/2 strip baconPre-heat over to 425 degreesCombine brown sugar glaze ingredients in a bowl until welldissolved together.Coat bacon wrapped shrimp in glaze and place in a single layer onthe baking sheet.
