July 2023July 2023Starng in July, Telferner UMC will become a campus of First UMC. Telferner UMC and First UMC already have a deep, long standing connection. 69 years ago several families from First UMC who lived in the Telferner area joined with other Methodist families there to start Telferner UMC. Several of those families are still actively involved at TUMC and are eager to renew ties. ere is a lot of history and hope in the future together.e folks attending TUMC are excited about the partnership growing. Members of FUMC have assisted with Vacation Bible School, Sunday worship, given a Choir performance, reached out to the youth, and participated in United Women in Faith. Twice Blessed Showroom and Pumpkin Patch have made generous donations to the TUMC Food Pantry and the United Methodist Men have donated surplus items from their Tool Sale for the annual Rummage Sale.Worship is at 9:00 a.m. on Sundays with Bible Study to follow at 10:00. e church is located at the corner of FM 1686 and East in Telferner (kitty corner from the Post Oce and near the new Dollar General).anks,Kathy Hunt
