Box 888, Hugo OK. 74743 580.326.9625 Happy New Year! As we enter this brand-new year, may we begin with our hearts focused on Revival. There are many opportunities to revive our hearts at the start of the new year beginning with the Brotherhood and Sisterhood revivals on January 11th and 12th in Valliant. • The State Youth Evangelism Conference will be held on January 14-15, at Falls Creek. • FBA Evangelism Conference will be held on February 7th at FBC Hugo and Oak Grove Baptist. • The State “Advance” Evangelism Conference will be held March 4-5, at St. Johns, Oklahoma City (5700 N Kelly Ave). February brings our Annual Frisco Baptist Association Evangelism Conference. This event has something for every age. We have a great lineup of speakers and musicians for our children, youth, and adults. Nursery will be provided. Coach T from Oklahoma Baptist who serves as our State Evangelism and Apologetics leader will speak to our youth at FBC Hugo. Dr. Stephen Rummage, Senior Pastor of Quail Springs Baptist Church will speak to our Adults and Kolby King of ThreeThirty Ministries will speak with our children at Oak Grove Baptist. Please make plans to attend these events and let’s make this year of 2024 the best year yet in Frisco Baptist Association. Bro. Mark Boyd DR. MARK A. BOYD Each year, hundreds gather at the Capitol at the beginning of the new legislative session to promote and support the lives of unborn babies by meeting with their state senators and representatives and presenting them red roses, which represent the sanctity of the unborn. Attendees are encouraged to present roses to their representative, senator, Lieutenant Governor and Governor. WHERE: Oklahoma State Capitol WHEN: Wednesday, February 7th, 2024 SCHEDULE: 9 a.m. | Registration opens (2nd floor rotunda, Oklahoma State Capitol 9:30 a.m. | Rose distribution begins 11:30 a.m. | Indoor rally begins (Oklahoma House of Representatives Chamber, 4th floor) Multi-Vocational Pastors and Wives Retreat will be held at Falls Creek February 2nd-4th Starting Your Year Christ Centered New Year’s may be just another day off for you, but it doesn’t have to be. You can use this season of change to draw yourself, your church, and your community closer to Christ. REFLECT ON THE PREVIOUS YEAR • What did you accomplish? • What goals did you miss? • How would you like to change? SEEK RENEWAL As the new year begins, seek renewal in Christ through reading the bible, prayer and participating in the life of your local church. PATIENTLY PLAN The New Year’s holiday naturally brings with it the idea of new resolutions. Before committing yourself personally or your church to new plans, prayerfully and patiently, move forward. Special Thanks to FBC Valliant for the beautiful job they did providing the 2023 Christmas Fellowship to the Pastors and other ministers in the association. God bless you and thank you again for a wonderful meal and fellowship.
