There was never a question too big or small and he was up for every challenge! Thanks Carl! We’re excited for Kitty to lead us in 2023!Talking about Kitty! Happy New Year Chamber Friends and Family!Knock, knock! Who’s there? Razor. Razor who? Razor glass and toast to a happy new year! I love the start of a New Year. I always feel so full of hope and good intentions. Check back with me in about a month and see how I’m doing.I am excited to start my new role as Chairman of the Greater North County Chamber of Commerce. Following in the footsteps of so many wonderful people, puts a little pressure on me for sure. I want to start off by thanking Carl Lathan for his incredible service to the Chamber. He definitely left some big shoes to fill. What happened to the man who stole a calendar? He got 12 months. Apparently, I have 12 months too. I hope together we can continue to grow this amazing chamber and develop great friendships and business relationships. The best advice anyone ever gave me about the Chamber, was get involved. The more you do with the Chamber, the more you take away for yourself and your company. I encourage you to join a committee or a leads group, attend the meetings and the Off the Clocks. What’s not to love about fun people havinga fun time!I wish you all Peace and Prosperity in the coming new year. My New Year's resolution was to drop my bad habits, but no one likes a quitter. Cheers to a great 2023!Kitty HarrisonChair LetterKittyKitty HarrisonPage 4

We want the best for our clients, friends and family and the relationships that we have built in the chamber and specifically in our leads group allows us to provide introductions for the services that they need.At each meeting we feature one of our members so they have extra time to educate our members on how they can best serve our group and the community.Leads 2 meets on the 2nd and 4th Thursday from Noon to 1pm at the Chamber office. At 7:45 the meeting opens with an inspirational moment, members take turns sharing about new developments in their business, suggesting what leads would be helpful to them and reporting on leads they have given on behalf of others. Members take turns making a ten-minute presentation, updating the group on new developments in their business, seeking advice and sharing expertise. Leads Group I is seeking new membership in the following areas: HVAC, electric, plumbing, banking. Interested persons are welcome to visit the group and participate in a meeting. To become a full member, the business must be a Greater North County Chamber member and their business cannot be in competition with the business of another group member. This is theperfect group for the person who wants to hit the ground running. Here, the early bird doesn't get the worm: that bird can purchase a super breakfast - supporting another Chamber business (Helfer's) - while honing business strategies.
