This week in math, we will learned about the commutative property.  After a group discussion and practice, the students worked in pairs to complete the following worksheet.  They would roll 2 dice, fill in the numbers for each die on the blank spaces provided, and then solve the addition problem.  From there, the students would write a new equation using the same numbers, but switching the order in which they appeared.  For example, if they rolled a 4 and a 3, they would write 4 + 3 = 7 in the first column and 3 + 4 = 7 in the second column.

The big day is coming up soon! We are all so excited for our field trip to the new Children's Museum in Logan! We are going to be able to learn so much and have a BLAST while doing it! We need just 2 more adult volunteers to join us next Friday, please contact me if you are able to. Thank you!

# Our  classroom

We have been learning so many new things this week in our classroom.  The children have each become such cooperative and engaged learners.  Our classroom is always full of exploration, discoveries, and fun!  I am so grateful for all of your wonderful children and that I get to be their teacher (even though I feel like they are teaching me most of the time!) Thank you for being such wonderful parents, guardians, and supporters of our classroom!
