It Can Wait: Orgins

It Can Wait was first started in 2010 by AT&T. It's purpose is to bring attention to dangers of texting while driving.

Mission Statement

It Can Wait's mission statement is to bring awareness to texting while driving and helping to stop it. Statistics show that about 75% of teenaged drivers think that texting while draving isn't anything that's very dangerous. It Can Wait strives to keep both drivers and passangers safer on the road.




The It Can Wait campaign has made a difference in the way that texting and driving is viewed across the nation. More and more people continue to think twice about answering a text or checking on their social media while driving, and in turn, it's making the road a much safer place.
