The It Can Wait campaign was launched in 2010 to promote the messge: Keep your hands on the wheel and off your phone. AT&T has spread the word and has collected more than 8 million pledges. Anyoneis able to pledge to keep their hands off their phone while driving.
AT&T has created an app to silence messages and alerts while people are driving. More than 500 It Can Wait events and engagements took place around the country in 2014. AT&T has worked with state and local officials to help get out their message.
